Maybe you should just send them the documents they request and deposit .1. assuming the site is legit(bitstarz has a solid rep) they should pay out with no problems so essentially you risk nothing

I edited my post sorry about that. Also, I am going to upload screenshots that will back up everything i mentioned in the morning. I ended up working a few more hours and had to tend to my son. Once they are out for viewing I am sure you, and others, will see things from my point of view.

I was able to withdrawal .01 from the 20 free spins hassle free

No idea why my message didnt save when i tried to edit it earlier. I mean, that sucks for me. I can't understand why they are so persistant on holding my .05 btc winnings until i deposit $50+ or .1 btc
I easily can and offered to provide any identification (my drivers license, utility bills, social insurance number, even birth cert lol) and they just wont do it for me. The fact that they were so rude to me is what really made me so disappointed and upset.

Additional explanation about free spins from Bitstarz:
By giving the 20 free spins, we're giving genuine casino players an opportunity to play in our casino for free, and if they win, they can withdraw their winnings without any hassle and if they desire, they can keep playing with us. With that being said, there is a risk of fraud when you're giving such a generous offers to the casino community and by asking for a simple KYC verification, we can eliminate the players who are trying to abuse the system. We want our genuine casino enthusiasts to be able to keep enjoying this offer and therefore, we need to be able to remove abusers who are trying to ruin the fun for the rest of the players.

^^ Read below before reading the above quote so it will make sense! Thanks. ^^

Hello fellow members!

I'm usually not the type to create a forum account and post (as I am quite busy in my everyday life with providing for my newborn son, myself, and my girlfriend) however, I feel compelled to let the bitcoin community know a potential scam when I see one. (Maybe I shouldn't say scam; perhaps another word would suffice - but thats for you guys to decide).

Before I continue, I will be uploading screenshots within a couple of hours when I get home from work. Regardless, I am far too livid to wait any longer to post this after my extremely upsetting conversation/experience I had with the websites support team).

So, first things first:

Please check out the quote on the top of this thread before reading further (everytime i try to paste from my phone it seems to paste at the beginning of my thread and not where I want it placed).

To get things started, I am going to explain what attracted me here in the first place, and why I feel that I am being unfairly treated.

My girlfriends best friend, Danielle, had been dabbling with bitcoin-based casino/gambling sites for a while now. She usually always relays her wins/losses/etc to my girlfriend (who then occasionally relays her experiences along to me - and from there It goes in one ear and right out the other, if you catch my drift). That is, until recently. Now, before I continue, I am going to sum up my views on these casino sites: Yes, there are legit sites. There are also not so legit sites. In my personal opinion (from personal experience, and from reading reviews over the years) BTC Casinos that offer no-deposit free spins/bonuses (of any kind) usually never pay out if the user were to win. So, back to the point!

A few days ago my girlfriend was out for a coffee with her friend, Danielle, and when she came home she was blabbing the usual to me (or so i thought). "She said she won $50 worth of bitcoins off a site that gave her 20 free spins upon joining but they wouldn't let her withdrawal them". I thought to myself how foolish she has to be to believe that they would actually process her request to cash out. That same night she messaged my girlfriend on facebook asking me to look over the terms and conditions for her (not the first time she had me doing this). Well, I did what she asked of me and got back to her. She told me they requested a KYC (which is the site operators wanting proof of who you are: government issued id and a utility bill flr example) and they *drum roll please* require you to deposit .1 btc before ANY withdrawals will be processed (even if you prove your identity) IF you luck out and win on the 20 free spins when you register. After she said that I couldn't help but tell her to give up and she is wasting her time (she was quite persistant on trying to get her earnings).

The next morning, she called my house phone just to rub it in my face that they ended up processing her withdrawal of .06 btc (thats what she had left after playing).

So, after I asked her for a screenshot and verified her claims I thought I would try my luck. I managed to win about 140 credits (2.8 mBTC) (estimated, but semi-accurate). From there, i went on to win a total of 5400~ credits (108 mBTC). I stuck around and played a lot more (making sure to have met the 40 times wagering requirement before attempting to cash out). I gave up and requested to withdrawal .05 btc. I waited, nothing. I messaged support, they requested the same thing as Danielle was asked to comply with (KYC and .1 btc deposit). I forgot to mention, she didnt end up even having to provide her KYC id/document upload (sorry forgot to say that above). So, i asked Danielle what she did to get her withdrawal processed. She told me she complained on the forums and messaged support explaining how it was unfair not to let her keep what she made.

I didn't think it was worth it to complain on the thread for Bitstarz, so that was a no-go, instead i contacted support and i mentioned how they processed Danielles request and that I should also be eligible for the same treatment. I was very quickly turned down, and the support team was very rude to me. They claim "her withdrawal shouldn't of been processed". Well, i knew it was too good to be true. But the reason why i am posting all of this is because of the opening quote I posted (above).

It does not mention requiring any deposit of .1 btc to withdrawal free spin earnings, in fact it makes it seem as if you will easily get your winnings if you manage to luck out like I did. Mis informing, and unprofessional.

I have screenshots that Danielle sent me showing her conversations (both ways) with support, and proving they processed her withdrawal without her providing a KYC or any deposit whatsoever. I also have screenshots of how rude the support team was to me, and how they made me feel terrible for asking for my earnings.

Anyways, if this is in the wrong section I apologize, I just don't want anyone else to be mislead as I was (and unfairly treated)
