I was running with the default intensity of 20. If I lower or increase the intensity, the hash rate decreases slightly.
The default of 20 seems to be best, but the hash rate is much worse than mod 6.

The default is not 20

try to run this bat:

:loop
skminer.exe  127.0.0.1 9325
goto loop

I am running 32 1080 Tis @ 70% power limit.

Try to divide the intensity by 3.Run the test.bat to get the defaults. #5 was broken,#6 had issues with celeron rigs
#7 should be bether

Nexus sp-mod private #7 beta
sendt to the nexus donators, please check your spam folders.

I haven't found a block yet with this build. Please test.

- Improved performance on celeron rigs.
- Improved launchconfig on all cards.
- Device selection similar to the -d parameter in ccminer. Seperate by comma.
- Default intensities displayed (0 intesity will turn on default).
- Improved Meter with less fluctating hashrates.
- Improved stability

Thanks for the update but I'm not sure if anyone is using the SP Nexus miners.
Mod 7 CPU usage is higher than that of the other member (majoh) who posted on your thread a few pages back.
Mod 7 hash rate is also about 26 mhs per gpu lower than member majoh's.
Member majoh's finds way more blocks than SP mod 5/6 on the same hardware. I am running 32 1080 Tis @ 70% power limit.

If the both of you can get together and build a faster miner, I will pay good money for it.

I was also talking about spreadcoin. Hash/watt ratio with OC decreases for the 1060gtx 3GB.

Every card need a seperate tuning in the kernels. There is more to optimize here.

It's possible to to get around 32% increase but the hash/watt decreases as the SP-mod is using much ALOT more wattage at same OC.

This is spreadcoin. Cards wich use more power has the most gain. The 1080ti is up around 60% @ 100%tdp and oc.

The profit is tanking.

here is nicehash profit calc for the 1080ti without the power cost:  ($2.28/24 hours of mining)

Tbh the spread mod is still beter at about 4 bucks
sp mod is not 40% increase ... at least not for a 1060 GTX.

For a 1060 GTX I see a 20% increase at hash/watt with the SP mod.

No OC - TDP 65%
Code:
3897 khash avg(default) ----------------- 4980 khash avg(sp-mod)
46.83 khash/watt(default)---------------- 56.27 khash/watt(sp mod)

OC - TDP 100% and 180+ core
Code:
4535 khash avg(default) ----------------- 5760 khash avg(sp mod)
47.94 khash/watt(default)---------------- 46.58 khash/watt(sp mod)

ccminer.exe --algo=x13

x13 can be mined with asic's. don't bother.

Im mining with Nvidia GPUs not with ASICS...

My Question was how to run ccminer without mining as a Host for my GPU Miners.

Hi,

im trying to set up my miners for solo mining DeepOnion Coin.

Right now they are Mining on a Pool without any Problems with a ccminer. On NVOC OS Ubuntu.

Is it possible to set up my Notebook Win10 for Solomining without Mining over my Notenbook, but as an instance?

Config?

rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=x
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcallowip=192.168.0.25
rpcallowip=10.0.0.45
rpcallowip=208.253.161.x
rpcallowip=173.77.148.x
rpcallowip=ANYOTHERMINERS
rpcport=3633
server=1
daemon=1
listen=1

miner.bat:
Code:
ccminer.exe --algo=x13 -o localhost:3633 -u user -p x

And on ubuntu each miner?

HCD='/home/m1/TPccminer/ccminer'

screen -dmS miner $HCD -a x13 -o $MYWIN10Notebook_IP -u User -p x

Cheers

what is the speed with your nexus 7 mod sp? on a 1080ti i'm interested, also c11 mod is for chaincoin? that coin have no volume and the emission is shit, is there any point to make one miner, or i'm missing something?

CHC has good volume on cryptopia https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/chaincoin/#markets

A couple days ago it went on a heater and was really profitable, not as much now.

A shot on your own leg ))
Nevermind,  it seems that everyone are on it and profit will never return ... but its was really cool ... as with bitcore one happy day when diff was frozen to very low value by creator ))

Keep buying private shit from sp. guys ))

When would it be profitable for solo mining nexus?

On the current difficulty in average it would take 2-3 days to hit a block with 1 single card, but with bad luck you can wait 1 week without any payment.

One card solo mining is useless. Try Bircore with a pool.

I am trying to fix the nexus miner with the latest driver. The only way is to add compute_61 in the project file, but then the miner is slower. I am also porting some code from the cpu to the gpu to get less cpu load on the celeron.
