even nist5 and x11gost now is asic minable, so we remain with only x16r and x16s and timetravel 10/phi/neos as a big algo, then you have a bunch of minion like poly and modification of wish algo for rubix

Monero nethash before the fork 1200 MHASH, nethash after the fork( block 693)  176 MHASH . the nethash will continue to decline until we reach 720 blocks.

At 176 MHASH we got around  352 000 gpu's mining (@500h/s). This should take some load of ethereum and zcash and boost the profit all over the board.

is the hashrate the same for the new algo? i mean a 1070ti do the same hash?

HASH RATE IS SIMILAR--

I see a loss of 0.8% on my rigs from monerov6 to monerov7 a few hash per card.

btw something wrong with spmod 7 bitcore, no result on pool, i'm trying with yiimp, it's not even showing my stats...

it say "pool asked your stats" on the miner...ah nevermind it's the fee

HASH RATE IS SIMILAR--

I am getting very similar hash rates and energy usage per hardware device.  However, different software packages perform with vastly different results.   Claymore v11.3 XMR (no fee) outperforms SGminer-GM by nearly 200H/s on my R9 Fury cards (830H/s per Fury now).  I do not modify my BIOS or tune the software extensively, I just run it.  Likewise, CCminer is outperformed by XMR-Stak.  My single-fan 750ti SC cards perform at ~260H/s with XMR-Stak, and at ~200H/s with Epsylon's CCminer v2.2.5.  Epsylon has not yet implemented the new Monero v7 algo, either.  My 1070ti cards get ~650H/s with XMR-Stak with either algo.       --scryptr

EDIT:  Apparently, Epsylon3 has just updated CCminer.  My single-fan 750ti SC cards now hash Monero v7 at ~210H/s.  I need to re-compile XMR-Stak for a more comprehensive comparison.       --scryptr

Nah, looks like the difficulty is going back up, but it could just be a lump of miners shifting over.

The 'real' CN total nethash before this latest October pump was somewhere around 0.2-0.3GH. ETN launch added some, nethash almost passed XMR back then. Organic growth.

If I had to guess this will only get worse. Sorry guys.

@sp-: When release new cryptonight-spmod with modified CryptonightV7 algo? If I know right circa 3 lines must be rewritten.

Doesn't matter what AMD hardware is doing on Cryptov7, if it's more profitable then everything else then Nvidia mines it too.

Currently it's the most profitable thing on Whattomine and it keeps climbing. I don't think it's far fetched to expect $3 a day per 1070 once the difficulty equalizes, at least for the time being. There is a lot of hash on Equihash and other networks like Dagger which I'm sure will switch off once they catch wind.

Monero is a big old bird, this is big news, especially if more of the old blood Cryptonote coins switch.

CRYPTONIGHT V7 (NEW ALGO)--

I have re-configured all my rigs (both nVidia and AMD) to mine the new ASIC-resistant Monero v7 algorithm.  Currently, my calculations show that I have tripled my income versus mining the standard CryptoNight algorithm.  WhatToMine seems to agree.  While Ethereum  (ETH) was posted as the top earner yesterday, the new Monero is tops today.  The new algorithm is still low energy.       --scryptr

Looks like all the nvidia favored algo and miner threads will have a relief from amd users on how to configure their rigs..

Someone sells SPmod of x16r???
find miner z-enemy, it's faster and more stable than the one that supposedly offers SP
this is especially noticeable on cards 1080ti
and he only takes 2% of dev Free
unlike miner JV for which you pay for the purchase, so inside and 2% of its screwed
enemy's miner has only 1% fee, not 2%
sorry, wrong
