how much a 970 is doing with x11 on the last version? 10k?
Who is mining X11 today?
huge numbers of miners mining x11 ...
why?
#crysx
Everybody's on ethereum, decred etc...plus high hash, asics...not much profitable
decred is profitable with a 970?

yiimp is paying 0.0094BTC / GHASH

a 970 does around 1.3GHASH

0,01222BTC a day = $5.2 per 970 card per day.

http://yiimp.ccminer.org/

Etherum@970@21 MHASH is paying around $4.5 per day.
x11@[email protected] MHASH is paying 0.003BTC ($1.31) per day (nicehash)
quark@970@18 MHASH is paying 0.004($1.71) per day (nicehash)

The rates are fluctating. Tomorrow the best paying algo could be different.

this miner last fork allow nvidia to mine decred? seems not

no, yiimp is paying in DCR, not in BTC Wink

else 4 blocks in the last 3 hours... and there was no "restart" since block 4572, no other changes neither. Nothing sure so, its the lottery

Decred (blake algo) will have asics within 6 months sold to the average guy maybe another 6-9 months later.

The equivalent of 7gh on x11

The net daily Dash hashrate is 113GHASH. You are aiming high Smiley

agreed ...
would be a huge boost if they got there hands on it AND didnt give it away ... so that you could sell more WINDOWS copies of it ...
#crysx

Just need to add Decred in sp-mod private release #6. Not much to gain, but perhaps I can squeeze out a few percent.
I should also do a refork.  1.7.3 have many bugfixes since version 1.5. Bether for Solomining

Pretty sure they haven't tested and don't have SP's private miner.
BTW SP that's probably a pretty good way to promote your miner. Give them a free version for them to test.

My private is mining x11 @ 3,45 MHASH on the standard clocked EVGA 750ti (1.5 sp-mod private #5). The 1.7.3 release does around 2.9-3MHASH on the same card.

Yeah dude, it's not just about the numbers. Cryptominingblog is a pretty big website for miners. Giving them a press copy would create more buzz and business for you.

Everybody's on ethereum, decred etc...plus high hash, asics...not much profitable

that is true ...

but profitability isnt the only reason people mine ( like myself ) ...

which is why when the question was posed - the answer really is 'look at the hashrates for x11 coins' ...

its huge - regardless of profitability ...

and now the public release ( though private miners had these things for ages apparently ) of the x11 asic machines - this will only increase in hashrate ...

this is the reason why there is a toss up between staying with x11 on granite - or changing it to another algo ( quark was the main one i had in mind ) ...

but soon enough - most of these algos will go asic / fpga ...

asics / fpga are not always a bad thing ... it just depends on the projects goal ...

PoW is crucial ( or at least - some sort of mining ) for block chain security and stability ...

profitability - meh ...

#crysx

Profitability meh, huh... Why do I see you skulking around on the decred pools then?

Go mine some Feathercoin. ^^

i am Smiley ...

feathercoin ( after i stopped mining litecoin ) is one of my favourite coins ... soft spot for that one also ...

blackcoin is another - along with a few other smaller coins ...

what? you think ALL of thefarm is in decred? ... Wink ... how small do you think thefarm and farmamd is? ...

this year - im aiming at growing thefarm to new heights ... the equivalent of 7gh on x11 - which will mean most of the other algos will be huge also ... thats the aim - whether it gets reached is another story - but im definitely going to try ...

decred is a nice coin to mine ... same with eth - but i just cannot get the compilation sorted properly on fedora 23 x64 ... otherwise ubuntu is a simple install - but the changeover is a major undertaking from me in the farms ... while eth IS more 'profitable' - i mine all the other coins i like ... and mine for others also when the time and / or need arises ... my way of donation ...

so if your assumption is purely that im lying about the 'meh' statement - then wouldnt you think i would already have changed the ENTIRE farm across to ubuntu ( which have repos that have ready built miners in ) AND brought farmamd ( 25 x gigabyte 7970 oc and 280x oc ) back into existence ... had it all been about the profitability? ...

instead - farmamd is packed up and ready for the my next move to larger premises - and thefarm ( all gigabyte 750ti oc lp cards ) are mining various coins all over while currently being dismantled slowly for the move also ...

so yes bensam ... profitability - meh! ...

ill play with ubuntu and eth when i move in the next few weeks - and when the farms are up and running again a few weeks after that ... which means ill be offline in that period of time also ...

another point to ponder ... i have granite ... what do you think im going to do with the growth and development of granite when i accumulate enough ( enough = my own opinion ) coin everywhere else? ...

im a hoarder of coin - so sue me Wink ...

SP have you integrated Decred in your miner yet and/or have you improved it?

Decred is 14 rounds of blake-256. The first version of blake 256 was added by tpruvot. The first 14 round version (based on SPH code) did around 230MHASH on the 750ti. then I doubled the speed in the sp-mod. (uint2/byteperm rotations / precalctables in the instruction cache). The kernal you are using today (in 1.7.3) has already been optimized by me. I haven't included it it my fork yet because I plan to refork 1.7.3.

Yeah dude, it's not just about the numbers. Cryptominingblog is a pretty big website for miners. Giving them a press copy would create more buzz and business for you.

Let's wait for the x11 ASIC to hit the market. Then I might give my x11 private for free. With more work and proper overclocking the x11 should do 4-5 MHASH on the best 750ti cards.

Unreleased ASIC(gen 1)
384MHASH/715Watt
0,537 MHASH per watt

(750ti optimized)
5MHASH/40watt
0,125 MHASH per watt

But with pascal (12x faster) ccminer might do 1,5MHASH/watt. (3x faster than the 1 gen asic)

Not sure 'miners' as much as a handful of farms with private kernels they commissioned. The x's have not been profitable for the average joe for quite some time.

But the x's are still minable and profitable with the gpu. (More income than power consumption.)

todays prices @ nicehash.

X11   0.3742BTC/GHASH
X13   0.4457BTC/GHASH
X15   0.5922BTC/GHASH

I guess with 0.1$ a KWh the power cost will less than 25% of the revenue with todays prices on the Maxwell chips.

DJM34's neoscrypt kernal is finally profitable. (9BTC/GHASH)

Name                       Amount Diff    Block       Profit(BTC/GHASH)
UFOCoin (neoscrypt)   2500   0.273  663 481    9.0389
Feathercoin (neoscrypt)   80    3.432   1 103 557    5.9812

@nicehash(   6.7681 BTC/GHASH)

So you can rent @ nicehash for 6.7, mine UFo coin and gain 30% without having a farm.
