Trolls go on in almost all sections of the forum really and the forum really doesn't pay too much attention to it,and I think it shouldn't.Most times it could be racial trolls,personal trolls etc,most of this takes place in the p&s section.
If it's getting out of hand you can always make a thread in... I think reputation or simply report to the moderator about the issues

To say 1) they don't have money 2) they try to scam us - both are not hate speech.
Hate speech is not an actual accusation of something, it's calls to violence and inciting animosity.

I am sure steklomoy is a moderator's sockpuppet. But nobody will be investigating it. Nobody gives a shit.

A couple of moderator's sockpuppets are discussing how they, after a successful Coloured revolution in Russia, will punish those who stand for it's national interests: by raping them homosexually or by executing them.
This portrays them either as kids not realising what they are doing and what consequences that may have, or as grown up oligophrenes without education and basic decency. I'd rather hope they are kids, so they had a chance to change their ways.

My point is: the situation with Russian-speaking moderator is not sustainable. With time, it will degenerate into something even more ugly. I have warned you, make your own conclusions anyone who cares.

So maybe you should reconsider hate-speaking against Ukrainians then.

Moderator (not "moderators") has 6 sockpuppets one of them posing as another "moderator".
He trolls and spews vitriolic insults at various users, from under those sockpuppets, with tons of hate speech, I will post translations here when I have a spare minute.
Because of hate speech laws (that exist not only in Russia, hate speech is a crime in UK as well) this forum can be banned.
Or, if sockpuppets really are what they claim (they claim to be Russian citizens - therefore the puppet master claims to be one) they/him can be prosecuted. Or both.

It's not about love or hate of Putin or US-Russia conflict on Ukrainian territory.
It's about ample amounts of hate speech moderator leaves intact, on one hand;
and censoring of any constructive thought that he doesn't like, on another.
By doing that persistently, he attracts trolls like him to the forum and repels clever, informed members of crypto-anarchist community who happen to be Russian without the "we are Europe" disease.

The driving cause for most of the anti-Russian shitposting is "signature scams". You can regurgitate same russophobia without any conscious effort, while shilling some ICO scam in your signature.
Ukraine, like other countries, is full of ICO scammers, like Boris Shulyaev, to name one.
So lots of people here are shilling those scams in their "signatures". While spitting hatred at other Russians, in the process.
As Ukrainians in general have no money, those scammers work (partially) for the Russian market of gullible "investors".
For many of those Russian-speaking hapless potential "investors", a RosComNadzor ban would be a barrier enough to participate in those ICOs.

You're right. I didn't think about registering new users. This will really create some problems. But I think that before locking the forum will not come.

Yeah evidence would be nice. But assuming that no staff member can speak that language how do they determine whether the report is right or not? Must be a nightmare to hire someone when you don't speak their language.

No. It would do something and it would prevent people who aren't willing to prawl through hundreds of vpns and creating new accounts. For existing accounts then no VPN restrictions do not effect it. VPN restrictions only occur when creating an account. Otherwise there would be a lot of banned accounts around here.

This is all very funny. We in Russia still telegram and VPN are unable to block. All people use telegram via VPN. Even if they add bitcointalk.org in the list of banned sites, it won't change anything.

Some state that moderators of the Russian section support users who love Putin. Others claim that we are Ukrainian nationalists. Still others shout that we sell themselves to the Americans. Funny. As a rule, these are written by those who are themselves radical. They do not like that their posts (topics) that violate the rules are removed. Therefore, they try by any means to ignite cross-national enmity.

I think English-speaking members would have to complain here like the OP did. Well, not like the OP but for real, with evidence and stuff.

I agree with what you are saying. But this has brought up something which I'm a little curious about how are local moderators judged on their work? I'm assuming that admins and global moderators watch lower ranked staff members and evaluate their work. But I doubt they will be able to cover every local board moderator. So if there were abuse going on in a local board how would this be determined?

I do not see how getting rid of off-topic comments/replies will lead to a ban of the forum in Russia,its a laughable one really,are Russian citizens gonna be banned or our domain name banned in Russia..

It's basically impossible,if the moderator feels those subjects are off-topic he/she has the right to get rid of them,whether he/she be Ukrainian or what have you

The forum has rules and it's the duty of the mods to abide by forum rules and not those of respective countries

Well you should try to state what your anger is all I notice from your post is that you have issues with the nationality of the moderator.

Well that's not a hard Issue to solve you can just go on and start your own forum and run it how you want.

This is bitcoin talk and it's well organised and the Russian section is a top organised section of the forum

My findings are that the Russian board moderators (I don't give a shit about their nationality, they could be illegal Mexican immigrants for all I care) are doing a whale of a job trying to clean up one of the largest boards of this forum.

The Ukrainian national who moderates Russian "Politics" on this forum censors this info out.
This along with his other abuses can lead to blocking of this forum in Russia, which currently constitutes 12% of web requests to this forum.
Please decide whether you really need such a moderator, controlling 6 sockpuppets who troll and censor people on this forum.
If you use the Russian section and observed similar things, please append your findings.
