The question is simple: CENTRA is a scam?

I think they are good, and I would wait for them to launch their cbay (I think that's how they will call it). There are a lot of crypto cards already, but the ones operating in the blockchain are still not very popular, like centra, tenX, monaco. They are a much better option than the ones that are dominating the market right now, like xapo, cryptopay, etc. If you have the token, I would say hold to it, and probably get the card as well to generate some more.
These cards are a very good solution for adoption right now, and I think they still have an important role to play right now. They will be "useless" in maybe 10 ou 15 years for now, if bitcoin succeeds, but for the short term, they are the best solution for people to pay with BTC.

I heard that the two main guys from the team just left the team with millions of dollars. I am surprised that this project has survived after they have been hit so hard.

Another guy that likes to spread false rumors without facts.  Both guys still work at the company and can be seen daily on slack and telegram.

There is an investigation into Centra now
http://www.zlk.com/consumer/centra-tech-inc

Thats just created because NYtimes spread fud without research.  Centra reached out to NY times to address the false accusations and the writer refused to even talk.

US is the most regulated place and hardest to ship cards to and Centra has received money transmitter license in 31 states and working on the rest.  This means they can ship to the US while other companies have not been able to get US license.

Centra has become a Executive member of Chamber of Digital Commerce after US license.  Executive member is a small circle including microsoft, IBM, Bittrex, Overstock, etc.  And the group works closely with policymakers and regulatory agencies for blockchain.

Chase Zimmerman (Son of Jordan Zimmerman, owner of Zimmerman advertising, 14th largest marketing firm in the world. Chase has joined as CMO)

Centra has big partnerships with companies like Bitgo (founders of facebook messenger and https 2.0)
https://bitsonline.com/centra-tech-bitgo-cdc/

ALSO, it shows people are spreading fud when the poster/user whycentrawhy only posts are ones that bash centra.

There will always be fud, but its up to the individual to do proper research.

From what I know, Centra delivered its card to the investors and release its mobile apps. Why would you think that it is scam? If it is because of the price, be patient.

There are many reasons why Centra IS NOT a scam, one of them is Floyd Mayweather haha  Grin Grin

Just because they have Floyd Mayweather posting with the Centra card in Twitter means they are not scammers right away. For all we know, they might have paid Floyd to advertise it. However, they do have a legitimate product which is a "prepaid" card. It might be a way for the masses to be able to discover crypto currencies. A lot will be intrigued or are already intrigued by it since Floyd Mayweather is somewhat their brand ambassador.

It is not question of celebrities participated in ICO. But Centras site is live and they in the line with roadmap. Token has listed on exchanges and total capitalisation not bad.

I still trade in Binance, and all is well.

The question is simple: CENTRA is a scam?
What makes you think that way?
What I've seen so far, the team has always been active to give up-to-date news to its community.
So the possibilities it will scam people is really small. And, whoops, Floyd Mayweather.

Centra doesn't look like it will scam people right now. They seem to be producing the updates that keep the people happy, the may skip town later in a few years.
