Im hoping someone can elude/knows about my question. In regards to "certificate of ownership"
Certificate of ownership of what exactly? And who is asking? If you give us more information we may be able to help you or direct you to someone who can. Give us as much information as possible.
I had lost my key and needed help in recovery ya ya i know but there was nothing i could do alone on this anymore. Regardless i had a good amount of the data, even a pic of it being spendable and more defined points which the owner would only know ex BIP type..etc etc.. So there is enough as determined... or maybe it should be "there was enough" is more applicable now after the fact...
That all being said the white-hats whom are in the banking industry asked for a proof of ownership certificate, which confused me. i said i do not know what they mean unless its relating to stocks and securities ownership but that still wont apply to my wallet due to the year it was created. The more legitimate tool would be a transaction and is the only real identifier of ownership.
Also since its not a web-wallet (blockchain) there would be no certificate i can pull CA wise, or this out of context assertion of their being one available then ....
The cloest thing i can think of are
Electrum came out with something later i read .... but this bs cert they are asking for has become an issue now; with me asserting its improperly applied to this and done so despite the agreement and fees paid.
.. but since im not 1000% sure as i see vague mentions when i search, i felt it prudent to come ask here,...
As for the taxes owed under the wallet, yes of course that will be owed and paid, but thats captial gains perceptions and yes falls on security related instruments / positions.
I would also like to ask ... can another bip type be applied to the wallet ....without cycling it on the ledger? .. if i am phrasing that correctly.
Thank you all for answering, it does help regardless....
