I figured out, as long as you still know the old address, any coins sent to the old address will also arrive at the new address.
I can keep on mining at bitcorepool after my wallet has been updated and my address is already converted.
The only thing you can not do after the update is sending coins to an old address.
Therefore I updated my wallet just now and here is the update with new address.

It would be great if everyone could update as soon as possible, yes. If you are having issues with specific services you can use this converter which helps sending BTX between old and new addresses: https://limxtec.github.io/btx-convert/
However, we'd like to get to the new format quickly

Unfortunately you didn't answer the important part of the question:
If we update our wallets, will you be able to send us our weekly payment to the new address already and will it be enough if we update our last weekly report with the new address, or what other way do we notify you of the new address.
Furthermore, I'm mining BTX through bitcorepool.cc and as far as I know, those have not yet upgraded to the new address format, meaning if I were to upgrade my wallet, I'd have to stop mining until bitcorepool upgrades as well.
For now you can continue receiving payments to your old address as per usual but you should update sooner rather than later, feel free to post in here or send me a PM with your new address when you have one and I'll update the spreadsheet
