why do you care about what your parasitic government thinks about your involvement or non-involvement in a signature campaign for a crypto casino?
Whether I like it or not, the law still applies to me as long as I live in this country. I'm not in the business of breaking the law, even when I consider the law to be ridiculous.

Quote
We have Bitcoin, so they don't have to know. Do they know the real name behind the LoyceV username
I've used exchanges, and never tried to hide my transactions from (my) government. That has 2 reasons: first, when I joined Bitcointalk, I didn't even know signature campaigns existed and used no other privacy measures than a username pulled from a random name generator. And second, hiding income/capital means I can't spend it (when we reach a million dollar per Bitcoin) without getting very unconfortable questions from my bank (and later government).

Quote
or were you contacted by one of their parasites agents?
For what? I stopped advertising casinos in my signature before the stricter advertising rules applied.

Gambling regulations are slowly getting stricter here, and are slowly getting more enforced. The $100 per week isn't worth the potential headaches.

Since CM was taken down, I stopped advertising mixers. And since 2 days ago, the Netherlands no longer allows advertising for gambling sites (including affilates), unless they can prove less than 5% of the players are under 24 years old. I don't like this level of government involvement, but it applies nonetheless.
I am sorry if I sound like a douchebag, but why do you care about what your parasitic government thinks about your involvement or non-involvement in a signature campaign for a crypto casino? We have Bitcoin, so they don't have to know. Do they know the real name behind the LoyceV username or were you contacted by one of their parasites agents?

My signature is available again starting next Monday (April 29). I'm open for offers.

But I'm not a lawyer, and I'm not even sure if this gambling advertising law even applies to casinos that don't target the Dutch market, so if someone can convince me it doesn't apply, that would be great Cheesy
I realize there aren't many options left Sad

Netherlands is one of the most challenging markets to work on, and most big players rather opt out of it than pay all the hefty fines that the gov is giving out in case they catch you. The few big local operators that are there basically have a monopoly under the current Kansspelautoriteit laws, and remote gambling operators are still excluded from most frameworks = but the gov promised that they will introduce it soon.
For a very long time, the Dutch government had a monopoly on gambling with the State casino and State lottery. Later, they allowed "competition", but they had to send 50% of their revenue to "charities" (this was recently reduced to 40%). They also use agressive marketing with massive advertising, by phone, targeted post, TV and more. The State lottery is the only one in which winners are exempted from paying tax. There have also been lawsuits (which lead to compensation for players) because the State lottery was misleading players by advertising with prices that fell on tickets that didn't get sold.
Online casino taxes can be even trickier, I've read cases in which every winning was taxed, and losses were not deductible. So basically wagering becomes very expensive.
As a Dutch tax payer, I can't say I feel "protected" by the current Dutch gambling laws. It's all about the money for government.

If you open up a few of the MGA and Curacao licensed casinos you'll see that no one has your language available and the country is blocked on IP level.
That's ironic, since Curacao is part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

I'm just now seeing this.

I just wanted to add that LoyceV was part of our Coinslotty Q2 2023 Signature campaign managed by Trofo and Cryptofrka, and out of 20 users, he was one of the best performers. The best thing is, he didn't even do anything special, it was just Loyce being Loyce
Thank you for the kind words. And thank you for your trust in me. Your offer had the best terms I've seen in any signature campaign (similar to the deal for renting out my Avatar): no post requirements, no requirements to post on certain boards, just "be myself". It gave me absolute freedom, and I can now say from experience I don't post less even when nobody is counting posts.

I've accepted an offer from AgoraDesk, on a weekly basis. I still keep the option open to switch to a better paying campaign once one presents itself, so I'll keep bumping this thread once in a while.
Until now, I've never left a campaign before it ended, but if a better offer presents itself, I may switch in the future. I've been open about this to the campaign manager from the start.

Additionally, his account holds huge historical value in older posts, and he's also quite active on a daily level, making him one of the best investments we did this year. He's always going that extra mile, so he's worth the extra funds.

If you're looking for a top performer, you'll not go wrong with his sig.

He really is, if you blurred everything here, username, rank, merits, activity signature avatar, and just go for the posts and threads.

The best posts and threads will always end up being LoyceV's.

My Signature is for rent Smiley I can make a deal per post, per week, per month or per year, payment in Bitcoin. Payment can be fixed in Bitcoin or dollars, but has to happen in Bitcoin. I prefer to be paid upfront, but I'm flexible if you're trusted enough.

At the right offer, my personal text can be rented too, but I prefer to keep that personal.

I only advertise services that I like. I reserve the right to reject offers I don't like. If the service I'm advertising turns into a scam, I reserve the right to stop advertising it without returning payment.

My sales pitch
I was part of the ChipMixer Signature Campaign since September 2017, until it ended (2 days ago). This campaign was generally known for accepting only high-quality posters.
I've created many data projects, varying from my Trust list viewer to Bitcoin block data. Here's a list of all topics I created.
Many of my topics are highly appreciated by the community, my Beginners guide to correct use of the Trust system for instance got translated into 16 languages.
At the moment of writing:
I have made 22,639 posts
I'm the 2nd most Merited user and 2nd most generous merit sender.
I'm the 8th Most Recognized user on BPIP.org.
I'm the 2nd most included DT1 member and the second most included user when counting inclusions from users with 250+ Merit.
I make no promises for the amount of posts I'll create in the future. but my weekly post count is usually around 50-100 posts (some of those posts (mostly bumps) are deleted the next week). Historic records can be found in my list of unedited posts.

History
1. Rollin.io: February 2016 - September 2017.
2. ChipMixer: September 2017 - March 2023.
3. Coinslotty: April 2023 -

Let me make a guess.

Coinslotty 😉

Right or wrong?
The Merit gave it away Wink

Lol easy to guess when you get merited by the one who hired you. However, sometimes people merit us just because they like to see that we are enrolled into something, so that can also be a way of showing gratitude.  Grin

~snip~
The profile picture, eh, it has no clickable links and is fairly small, so it's alright for me as I have it now. What I really don't like is when you have to do the 'trifecta' of signature, profile picture and personal text; basically making your whole profile indistinguishable from others (besides the name) and your post containing more ad space for a single sponsor than actual content.

I share your opinion about that, because most of the time I had (like now) an avatar and personal text that were not part of any paid campaign. I understand that whoever pays for the campaign wants maximum exposure, but it seems to me that most of those who are interested in something will still click on the signature because it is a direct clickable link.

By the way, I'm not part of the sig campaign that I currently have a signature on, but it's one of the oldest projects on the forum I'm a member of, so why not promote something that's been around for a long time and maybe get some more referrals.

Would you be interested in wearing Zenland signature?
Nope. I don't like "smart" contracts, because usually the user has no idea how it works.
I agree. Same with bitcoin in 2009. But thank you for considering.
I disagree. Satoshi released a very simple to understand whitepaper, even before releasing the software itself, and discussed it directly with others publicly, so I believe the understanding amongst early users was pretty high. Compared to today, you had to run a node,  you had to mine to get BTC, all things that most Bitcoin owners have no idea about today.

Back on-topic: I may need to do something similar, Loyce.. Tongue For now, Bisq it is! Wink
I really relate to your 'rules', especially for the (big!) signature space we have here..

For campaign managers: I did enjoy how icopress provided different, individual avatars (relates to the subject of 'individuality' of profiles and posts).

Would you like to wear BitcoinCleanup.com while you look for a paid offer?
Sorry, I'll skip this one. I'm hoping for an offer that's better than most signature campaigns, both in terms of payment as well as in terms of what I advertise. BitcoinCleanup.com ticks only one of those boxes.
