Don’t let the your screen sleep at all. Mine is all set to “never”, and no mater how idle my laptop is, it never sleeps until it is completely dead. When you’re doing then you can turn it back off to what you had.

Ok. Let me try this. I did not try this because I was afraid. What if my laptop screen starts having problems due to long screen time? I don't know how long this laptop screen should be ON. Also, the on-screen will consume more energy. That's why I thought why not run it with a screen of mode? But as I said, I find my laptop in sleep mode in the morning. But, I just changed my settings now. I hope it won't cause any problems.

My progress is not too bad compared to many of us. But it's nothing significant. My progress is 83.36% with 1 year and 1 week left.

what happenes after 100% sync?
Lol. You can finally use Bitcoin Core when that happens. New incoming payments will show up in a few seconds, and your wallet will show the correct balance.
Create a few backups of your wallet.dat before funding it.

Hey what happenes after 100% sync?

It will explode, brace for impact... just kidding!

The progress bar will disappear as your node will sit happily at the tip of the blockchain, waiting for broadcasts of new transactions and blocks. If it sees a new block, it will request it for download from its peers, validate it and if it's all good it will add this new block as new tip of the blockchain and silently be a part of the Bitcoin node network. There's a lot going on in the background when your node does its "thing" when fully synced, don't be disappointed that there won't be any fancy firework in the foreground. It's all good and important as it is. You joined the Borg, na, Bitcoin hive...

Check other aspects related to Bitcoin Core, such as the available storage space, the internet data package you're using, or if your firewall is blocking Bitcoin Core from accessing the internet (?)

Avoid making changes from the pruning option to the full data blockchain download option, or vice versa. I noticed a warning that it would reset all downloaded blockchain data. See img below for detail...
Re-downloading?! Man that's horrifying! It took me 12 days to reach 72% sync. I know my bandwidth speed sucks. Smiley It would devastate me. Anyway I'm not gonna change any setting now, let it be as it is.

I have said it before. The thing is that, I'm limited by my internet, that's what causing this as far as I understood.

Several hours ago it was 0.50% per hour and now it's 0.03% per hour, lol.

I don't know what happened but the progress per hour decreased. I'm doing other internet related stuff, and everything seems to be working fine but for some reasons the progress looks like it got stuck. Tried restarting the bitcoin core, doesn't help. I guess, I'll have to wait for it to fix everything on it's own.

That can't be possible. Maybe your electricity was interrupted. Or you can go to settings > Power & Battery > and look at the battery levels to know if there was a point it stopped charging. For me, I've set my laptop to never sleep under any condition, it has always been my default setting. Many times I wake up and the power is interrupted, I don't bother checking it because I already know that it was turned on even when the power was interrupted, so it is low.

For me, There is no way of electricity interruption. I have a power backup in my house. I use an IPS and I was home all night but I didn't notice any electricity interruption. I am currently 1 year and 47 weeks behind the current progress per hour is 0.5% (+-) which has drastically decreased. This is the progress on Day 6.

I don't know what happened but the progress per hour decreased.
Having 0.00% progress per hour isn't promising. Have you checked the Network Traffic and Peers tabs? Does the number of blocks remaining still decrease or does it go up? Could your ISP be throttling your Bitcoin Core? If so: have you tried a VPN? My favourite accepts any amount, and you can use it for just a few hours if you pay them 2 cents in Monero.
It's fixed now. Currently at 0.50% per hour on average with 72% completion. My internet speed was upgraded from 5 mbps to 12 mbps yesterday. But as I live in a rural area, the bandwidth isn't always stable. That was the main issue. I am hoping that, I'll reach 100% sync in 3-4 days.

Did you guys notice what I have posted and did you try to check if it's the same for you? My progress is getting slower day by day. For some unknown reason, I found out that my laptop was shut down in the morning but I kept it open. It happened two days in a row now. When I start it again, Seems like it was opened from sleep mode even though the sleep mode is disabled. I am not sure what is going on. My current progress is 61.77% on 5th day.
Hey! It's the same for me. I always kept the bitcoin core running overnight but when I woke up in the morning the screen was totally black (sleep mode). I faced this 3-4 times, even today. I had some work outside. So around 8 o Clock (morning time) I started running it again and went outside, returned home around 4 o Clock (evening), again SLEEP mode.

Note: Auto sleep mode and other settings are set as "never/disable" and I'm 100% sure electricity wasn't interrupt either. Weird.  Undecided

64% for me, same as you, progress decreased.
