I couldn't believed that Atletico squandered that lead. They did well to hold out for so long, and when we were watching I said that Real would probably only get a goal from a set-piece, then in comes Ramos with a quality header.

Real's finishing in the 90 minutes was absolutely shocking, they couldn't hit the target!

Worthy winners in the end, but I really wanted Atletico to get that double!

Yeh it was only 1 or 2 minutes left and then they won the first European title for there club, But they screwed it up.
They let Real score the 1-1 and then its just so hard for them, they where already in the bus having a party.
But now they had to play another 30 minutes and score to, it was just to much.
I really wanted to see Atletico win to, but they can still be proud they won the spanish title.
They will be dissapointed now but in a year they will be proud!

So Carlo Ancelotti is getting married in Canada this week to Marriann Barrena...
Mariann Barrena aka Mariann Barrena McClay was born in Vancouver, Canada to María Concepción Gutiérrez and Antonio Barrena.

Mariann holds a MBA in Marketing from Thunderbird School of Global Marketing , MBA in international business and Ph.D., in Finance from Cass Business and a BBA in business administration from Simon Fraser University.

Bar the mentioning of Carlo Ancelotti I don't really see what this has to do with the Champions League Final Huh

Real Madrid won so much Smiley

Lol. I thought it was pretty even in the first half tbh.

It was really even, but the 1-1 Real scored was just the hammer for atletico.
So they destroyed them in the extra time 4-1 in like 30 minutes extra time.
Thats 3 goals in 30 minutes, so they destroyed them in the extra time  Grin

What were the odds? I missed it but if they were more than 1.500 for madrid i had take it

Most of them were offering Real Madrid - 1/2 and Atletico Madrid - 13/8. Some had it even worse, at Real Madrid at 5/11 and Atletico at 7/4. I thought 5/11 was worthless, considering the risk.

WOOOO!!!! Atletico gets f*cked by real.  Grin

lol it was expected.... I was about to place a bet on Real, but none of the betting sites were offering good deals on them. And as expected, Christiano Ronaldo scored. Advantage Portugal in the group stage of the World Cup (against USA).  Grin

Is Gareth Bale a ROI for Real?  Cool Smiley

I think so... By the way, how much is the bounty for winning the champions league cup?

Yes i think they will be happy now at Real with Bale  Grin

This is what I could find about the pricemoney:

As of 2012–13, UEFA awards €2.1 million to each team in the play-off round. For reaching the group stage, UEFA awards a base fee of €8.6 million. A win in the group is awarded €1 million and a draw is worth €500,000. In addition, UEFA pays teams reaching the first knockout round €3.5 million, each quarter-finalist €3.9 million, €4.9 million for each semi-finalist, €6.5 million for the runners-up and €10.5 million for the winners.[54]

Playoffs: €2,100,000
Base fee for group stage: €8,600,000
Group match victory: €1,000,000
Group match draw: €500,000
Round of 16: €3,500,000
Quarter-finals: €3,900,000
Semi-finals: €4,900,000
Losing finalist: €6,500,000
Winning the Final: €10,500,000

Wow! That's a lot of money! And this is the champions league only money...

Plus the money from the tv rights revenue + ads + tickets + team memorabilia, etc. Real Madrid = A Great Brand Name!

Silly mistake by Casillas. Keepers love to come off their line to get a bit of the action but the often pay for it. He did well to get back and nearly scoop it away though.

Yep but it didnt matter in the end, Real even made it 4-1 in the extra time.
Must be really hard for Atletico to get a goal in the 93th minute.
They already tought it was over and now they had to play extra time.
When real scored the 2-1 you saw they knew it was over

poor casillas Sad

Wow yes man, he was totally out of position.
You cant make a mistake like that in the Finale, but it was a surprising good header I think.
But I still keep my 2-1 prediction for Real standing.

Header of the season Grin this is definitely going to be win for real. Had almost lost hope
