Better to change and transfer all your coins into the other wallet, Because all your income there will be gone in just few minute after you filled your private key. I already experience that 2 times and all my coins/money are gone and that is very hurt because my effort was wasted. Next time take care of your private key and place that onto different boxes/secured files.

I don't think there's any way to change the private key, you should transfer all your coins to new wallet if don't want to lose all of them, protect your self now.

To change the private key I don't think it can do and unlike when we forget the password or change the email, I have never experienced an error like you and my suggest to be more secure you immediately transfer your funds to the new wallet address.

well just change your wallet into new private key, i dont think its possible. Thats a common mistake that used to happen for someone new. I suggest you to have a new one and becareful next time.

Since it is an airdrop, your wallet might not be safe. Else, i would have advised you to communicate the with the developer of the project to help you to change it. The best solution to this is for you to create a new wallet that you can be using.
You can`t change your private key from your wallet. The best way in your situation is to create new wallet and withdraw all of your coins from the old one.
This is what happen to me before and its really easy to hack your account using the private key , yea it's impossible to take all your coins give or accidentally put your private key instead of address we need to be careful to give any personal details for your safeness
How did you manage to do this in this question? Although once this happened to me like. Better that there was no later theft of tokens better to transfer all their assets to another wallet for security. If the wallet was empty then just create another one and use it. As people are told to learn from their mistakes, I hope this served you as a lesson for the future.
I hope it becomes your last worst experience. Do not repeat again, by exchanging password keys or putting in any place. And I also don't want to experience the same thing. Careful will be better. 
Oh My God, how could this happen to you? As I know, the private key can not be changed. My advice for you is you have to back up or move any tokens that you have in there to another wallet. You have to be more careful now, or you will lose all the results of your hard work.

The private key can not be changed. At the moment your wallet is under threat. Urgently withdraw funds from it to a new wallet!
man, next time you will make something like that, don't rush posting your questuion on bitcointalk, firstly sent tokens to another trusted wallet and try to change your wallet in bounty spreadsheet

I wonder how could people do such a mistakes? This is a big talent to do that LOL. These kind of stories make me a good laugh. My advise you create a new account on MEW and transfer all of your coins there, I never heard about changing private key, so good luck
Do not forget to move all your coins to a new wallet, because it's dangerous to keep them on the old one!
There are lot of reasons why you need to change your private key maybe because you accidentally sent it to anyone or you saved it to public computers which it can easily hacked.
There is no way of changing a private key in MEW, not even possible in any other. If you have sent the private key already, it's better you create a new address urgently and send all of your funds from the previous one to the new one. Otherwise, you will definitely lose all of your money.
Is it really possible to change private keys? I doubt that. Private keys can never be changed, or retrieved. This is why one is always advised to always keep their private keys in a safe place and somewhere they can easily access it. If you ever get to share your keys instead of your wallet address, it is only safe and wise that you create a new wallet and transfer whatever you have in your previous wallet to the new one.
