I think we only give out volume per currency through the API. There's also a few issues with tracking volume by country when several countries show the same volume, as we don't require users to name their location when they're registering.

Thug for life!

there is Google Trends that has countries, cities and languages sorted by number of bitcoin related search queries.
i also found this on google http://fiatleak.com/
and this http://bitcoincharts.com/charts/volumepie/ it is a pie chart by showing the money going into bitcoin on exchangers, you can recognize the countries that way.

Thanks, I'm really liking the fiatleak website, this is pretty handy to show people movement in the bitcoin transactions, is actually pretty cool just to watch.

Thanks again.

interesting charts but i was disappointing to see all Europe in one chart and no Greece, i wanted to check the charts showed the news that i have been hearing about the increased buying.
i also was expecting a nice spike in Canada due to the recent news there,

i guess is putting the data together, it would be great to set this up on a world map so who ever visit the page just clic on their city and it would show the traffic and the most trusted seller.

And one of the countries that is very interesting at the moment is unfortunately missing; Greece. Would be interesting to see if it is spiking right now!

Seems to be by currency not country.

i think at this point it's a bit too late for them. once the situation there gets better, and the banks go back to normal, that's when greek people should massively buy bitcoin.

is always great to have the localbitcoin data in hand, i like to show the new people i introduce bitcoin to the current people selling and buying bitcoin in their local community, even if the person travels around this comes pretty handy to show usage base on locations.

Awesome data charts, thank you for sharing.

Russia localbitcoin shows phenomenal growth. Sweden, Australia and USA are right up there too.

UK is flat, be nice to see other European countries,.

Your country may be your worst enemy
Poor charts! They've put all European countries together (save Denmark, I wonder why). So you can see the growth in most countries, but I wish someone could make a chart comparing countries for a given month.

...

I have not had the time to study these (Y-Axis in particular), but the charts are interesting:

http://charts.coin.dance/

It is interesting to see how BTC purchases vary by country through time.

Very interesting it is amazing the variance in country, with some slightly similar.

Woah, these charts are amazing.  It is interesting how some countries have just a single spike, as if there was a period of time when btc was a popular fad, and then no one cared about it after that, but also other countries like usa and russia where there is a sustained increase.  Very interesting.

A fascinating chart. November '13 aside, it's interesting how every single country is so radically different. There appears to be barely any unifying behaviour.

Yes there has been a run on banks in Greece last week, but afaik there is no evidence that people are putting this money into bitcoins.  There is speculations that this is the reason for the rally, but the price was depressed too far anyway and was ripe for a rally.

But thanks for this chart it is good reading.

Loose lips sink sigs!
It's interesting to see the growth in the US, Argentina, Poland, Russia, Sweden. I'm surprised there's so little use in Israel.

Is the x-axis in total value of transactions (i.e., total fiat amount in local fiat)? Not count of transactions, right? So there's some element of currency exchange that may impact these charts, if we could see the volume in a standard measure we could really see where the differences are.

It would also be cool to see this as a line chart, to see the volume by country side by side. Thanks for sharing this, cool chart.
