Logo designers are a dime a dozen, and the ones I know personally have experience enough to a) show their relevant work up front -- no prompting necessary, and not a portrait when logo design is offered (as they're very different types of art), and b) not tell one forum member that they "have no idea how shit works" and then hypocritically tell another forum member they are "a bit rude." In other words, the designers I've known and worked with have a concept of professionalism. That's a goal you should strive for if you want my money. Well, if you want somebody's money. Not mine -- first impressions and all.

They are giving you some quality advice. Don't push back even if you think it's delivered peppery.

You should indeed show what you are trying to sell first before asking us to buy anything. If you were selling portraits then the example sketch would be fine but you are selling banners/logos so you should instead show some banner examples instead. Even if they are for yourself at least we can see what you can do.

How about OP designs a logo for his logo design business first? Don't be like the sign company that has a crappy sign.

thank you! see c: its really not that expensive at all that would cost less than a bitcoin and i have sold similar things in local art shows for over 150$ ill lower my prices to 0.075 btc an hour, most logos only take an hour or two to draw, and 30 minutes to render well, unless you dont mind the "drawing feel" and then i just scan them

You myfriend, think you have some sort of rep/status on this forum. You have no idea how shit works with your grand 64 posts. I do not charge for drafts, all you must do is pm meyour concept, im not asking for trust, im asking for the CHANCE to build it, which is more than fair

Just post some examples in your OP so people can see what you are capable of.  You must have done prior work, or practice work, at some point in time.  Do shops hide all their merchandise until you say you want to buy something?

as stated in the initial post you do not commit to working with me or PAY ANYTHING until you see drafts and decide if you like them and want to continue to work with me. and i can adjust my prices with the rise of bitcoin but right now its 20$ an hour. which isnt bad given i can do most jobs in under 2 hours.

Why dont you quit asking for people to trust you and start by building a portfolio instead ?
