Are we all in agreement that 98% of the 'crypto experts' on Youtube have no idea what's going on?

They use clickbait titles like "BIGGEST OPPORTUNITY IN DEFI" or BITCOIN ABOUT TO "EXPLODE / DIE", they are the ones smashing it in crypto but only through youtube ad revenue?! Or most of them shill their own coins.... I have seen huge pumps in coins they are hyping up on the video, the coin pumps just before the video is released.

Do most people on here stay away from them?

Can anyone share REPUTABLE sources or is everyone on this pump and dump scheme?!
YouTubers can do and say anything just to get the audience they need, they are in need of audience because more audience means more money from their ad revenues. I have seen some of them put some stupid title and description and images that doesn’t match the contents of the video, this kind of things can be really annoying, so that’s the same thing with most of them, they just hype shit and say nonsense, only a few of them will value what they are doing and provide true contents for their viewers.

If you see a video by a YouTuber, it’s best that you do more research to confirm if what they are saying is true or not.

That is why Youtube is only for entertainment, anything other than that is total bullshit. We all know that they want to get audiences then why still talk about, people that are curious will check out this people only to add another views to this shills. Best thing to do is to ignore this people, they know that they are shills so we they do clickbait titles to capture the attention of the users that are dumb enough to believe what they are saying.

they arent experts if they dont know whats going on or no knows nothing on the coin that they promote but what they only know is that it was a content to gain views and earning in their youtube accounts but we can check if the youtuber that promotes a crypto is geniune and arent after for any personal gains but there are videos that i saw on youtube that they are featuring btc  and doge coin . i think creator of this video did also invest in btc and doge and tries their best to promote and pump it for more profit

Nobody reputable would ever publish price speculation on Youtube specially about shitcoins and obvious scam cases such as ICOs and their alternatives such as DEFI. It is just a waste of time to speculate about bitcoin on Youtube and it is unethical to advertise the scam projects!

Only those who want to make some money from their Youtube views make such videos or those who want to scam others by dumping some shitcoin on newbies who listen to them and buy that shitcoin after watching their videos.

What makes you skeptical concerning Max Keiser and Russia anyway?

I'm not skeptical about Max Keiser.

I am skeptical about Russia though.

However, maybe Russia is just trying to debase the dollar and sees Bitcoin as a useful weapon for that.

I don't watch cryptocurrency related content on Youtube. The only crypto Youtuber I've watched was Francis from "The Crypto lifestyle" and he was mostly promoting methods about how to make money on Paxful.
Later on,he started promoting some altcoins/tokens and I stopped watching his videos, because I'm not that much into altcoins/tokens,ICOs,DeFi,etc.
You are right, most of the crypto Youtubers just want to make some money from Ad revenue or paid sponsorships. There's nothing wrong with that.Just don't take their advise seriously.

However, don't forget the prime purpose of the channel Russia Today is to undermine the USA, NATO, EU and and UK.
No comment on this. I don't watch television lol.

But yes, Max Keiser is a law unto himself, so people should watch him in his own right.

However, I have a healthy cynicism about why Russia Today is plugging him. It almost makes me think Russia has a wider interest in Bitcoin.
It's probably just because he's a big Bitcoin personality. They could've taken Andreas Antonopoulos, Michael Saylor, or Barry Silbert and I don't think it would be anything different. What makes you skeptical concerning Max Keiser and Russia anyway?

Do you ever watch The Keiser Report?
I watched a few videos in the past but I'm just not that much of a fan of Max Keiser.

His most recent gig is on Russia Today which worries me somewhat because why is Russia pumping Bitcoin???

Is there really any problem with it if a certain Bitcoin proponent does a presentation on Russia or any other country? Remember that everyone can take advantage of Bitcoin; it isn't solely for select countries.

Well I keep an open mind, and I indeed watch Russia Today at the weekend so I don't accidentally see the UK football scores and I can enjoy the highlights later at night on BBC.

However, don't forget the prime purpose of the channel Russia Today is to undermine the USA, NATO, EU and and UK.

Max Keiser is probably the most well known established Bitcoin journalist/evangelist.

He's a well known ex-stockbroker who appears in the financial media in the US and UK.

His most recent gig is on Russia Today which worries me somewhat because why is Russia pumping Bitcoin???

I think Keiser was an early proponent of Bitcoin though so the Russia angle is probably to devalue the dollar.

He's funny though and his show is worth a watch.

The so-called experts are newbies and often want people to trade.  Buy and hold has worked great for years and given the adoption by corporations and others, seems likely to continue to be a good option.

If the "experts" were saying, "buy and hold" they'd have nothing to sell.

Youtube has never been one of the places to look for proper info imo. Reading may be a pain, but it provides a lot more information that is a lot easier to understand than Youtube. Videos more often than not miss something vital or important to connect one topic to another and they don't even realize it, so might as well just give up. Youtube is mostly for entertainment, knowledge isn't non-existent in trading there, but most just follow the clickbait trends that most content creators do.

Well if you want to have fun while probably learning around 1% of what you want, you can continue watching them.

I know the name of some discord and telegram pumping group channel,
they randomly pick a coin every day and the main task of these kinds of group is to spread fake news about that picked coin on different social media,
even they use youtube add banner to spread the coin's name.
and by doing this they make a hype of that selected coin and many people have fallen into this trap and get a victim of FOMO.

Yes! Or make it 99%.

Do most people on here stay away from them?

Yes, I guess, away from most of them at least. And to those who are following them and even initiate investments, trades, and so forth out of their videos should do the same. I mean, they should also stay away from them. Or better yet, report them.

I'm afraid nobody will share you anything because there is not a single reputable source on this pump and dump scheme. If someone does, beware and avoid trusting him/her. Nobody who is mature enough in Bitcoin space believes in pump and dump schemes.

I always see something like that on BitBoy Youtube Channel  Grin
IMO, we should not take it as advice. they also clearly state at the beginning or the end of their video that it's not financial advice.
therefore, we should not rely on their video to decide which crypto to buy or sell.
somehow I felt entertaining to watch videos like that. I take it as an EDUTAINMENT. it makes me research more about what has been mentioned.
Coin Bureau is my favorite youtube channel for now. Their explanation makes sense and more friendly with my brain  Grin

They are not talking about Bitcoin but have to fill their video clips with the bags they bought and the projects they were paid to shill. It is discusting to watch this shill fest in their comments and live chat rooms or the way they promote these projects which a year or two later will be completely forgotten.
I remember a few guys being only about Bitcoin earlier than 2017 but right now the only active is Chris Dunn and I haven't watched his videos for months either. He has being inspirational about Bitcoin and always reasonable. If you ever want to watch someone discuss Bitcoin price action without shilling, visit his channel.

Well, i discovered that there are good Youtubers, some were forext traders before they switched to crypto traders. Some are good at analyzing using TA and FA, while we have many others that are there for the hype. I feel this channel The Moon is a great crypto channel .

If you want some good or at least decent YouTube content, you're probably stuck with only Andreas Antonopoulos[1] and BTCSessions[2]. Other than that? Yeah, you're probably out of luck. Unfortunately for the people who prefer watching than reading, YouTube really isn't the best place for good information.

that's why videos on youtube are only for added entertainment. We don't take what famous YouTubers say seriously. due to the fact that their videos will be out of date and out of date as the market develops. they only aim to find audiences and customers. that's all, and nothing more. so you have to be very clever in responding to the YouTuber phenomenon who often talks about cryptocurrency and always checks the date the video was uploaded.

Massively. It's worse than watching those Saturday night sing and ring contest shows... None of them predicted the recent correction did they.
