I would say localbitcoins is a great site, they have loads of features.

Localbitcoins is mentioned here several times, anyone here have successful transactions with it? Great to hear from those who experienced using the site.

I have used Localbitcoins quite a lot. As a buyer, there is very little risk if you use the site's escrow and you deal with reputable people.

A side note for using localbitcoins.

You can search the existing deals and pick one to sell your bitcoin, or you can create a new deal yourself and wait for others to buy your bitcoin. The good thing about creating your own deal is that you can get a much better price, but you will need to pay 1% fee and the process may take some time.

Cheapest way would be to sell it for cash via Localbitcoins.

You could also use Gyft and exchange cryptos for gift cards for use in shops.

Trading it for cash will be the cheapest. Maybe you can also find some who will like to trade it with PayPal money. Transferring trough banks is really costly than other methods.

I think the localbitcoin is a way to go with a western union thing or cash deposit?

As sailsh-sea explained, there are quite a number of other payment methods.
But the number of traders near you and the payment methods you can find, really depend on your location.

You can use local bitcoins for cash, wire, paypal, western union, meeting the person or a number of other types of transactions.

Okay I was just wondering because my bank charges 15$ for an incoming wire and was wondering how to get 500 for my 500$ worth ya know

A $15 fee for a $500 trade would be 3%, which is okay IMO. You can accept other payments such as cash as well.

I too would recommend localbitcoins - easy place to find reputable buyers. The currency exchange board here is OK, although I would advise against accepting PP unless you know what you're doing. I'm wondering why you're concerned about fees - unless you're selling tiny amounts they shouldn't eat up too much.

durrrr, you can pay me first my 0.05 BTC back from that loan of 1 year ago (and the ~5 other people you scammed on this forum.) Then use localbitcoins for cash if there is something left.

You should have made a thread in scam accusation for that.  Smiley

Cheapest? Sell here, in the currency exchange section, I guess.  That's one of my main ways of trading bitcoin to fiat. Smiley

This is not quite safety to trade here. You'd better to buy/sell in person or on the exhcange or if you do it on forum you'd better to use escrow (but it also means you should pay fees)
He scammed multiple people in that forum, also on his alt. accounts. I'm pretty sure he feels comfortable trading/scamming there.
