Not to disparage the fairer sex, but it's just the way we evolved. Men are more willing to take risks than women on average.
Bitcoin is still seen as risky, so there ya go.
Keep telling yourself that,
Don't need to ... it's a fact, and others are able to tell us that fact better than me:
https://www.nber.org/papers/w14713Yeah, Im not going to read that paper nor will I bother to find one that states the opposite. Just becasue a paper found that from the sample set of people they tested they found woman less prone to risk does not make it a fact. There are examples of woman taking great risks like e.g. Boudicca or Rosa Parks despite their surroundings. Society forces (or forced) men and(!) women into certain roles. All this does is limiting biological potential. Men have to be strong and take risks is the same nonsense as saying woman are not interested in technology and belong in the kitchen. All these statements do is reinforce an existing narrative that holds humanity back.
the appetite for risk is rather acquired than inborn. It is also possible to invest in bitcoin without risk at all. As you can be invested on an educational level and dont have to spend a single cent to aquire bitcoin. If you consider bitcoin as a hobby you care about and that helps you learn and grow, no time you invest is wasted and every coin you earn along the way is pure profit, no matter the price. This is true regardless of your genitals. I would guess that there are many women interested in bitcoin without flaunting about their gender, it is of no matter here anyway.
All more or less true, but unrelated to my statement.
But of course it is. You claim females are not interested in bitcoin because its risky. I show you that bitcoin does not have to be risky, which removes the basis of your point. Whether or not someone is interested in bitcoin is not based on how prone to risk they are, but how interested in bitcoin they are. I would not even say in technology in general because I know plenty of men and women that do not care about bitcoin one bit even though they care a lot about other things "tech".
By the majority of people, bitcoin is still deemed unsafe, risky, scary, experimental at best. Half of those people are female.
The majority of people regardless of their genitals, yet all I hear here is "women dont care about bitcoin". Where are the "do men use bitcoin?" threads? Its sill to ask that right? Yes it is, its also silly to ask whether or not women use bitcoin.
Bitcoin is used by a small fraction of all people. From those that care about bitcoin females are probably the minority, but the same is true for chefs.
