Most of these airdrops are spammy, do your own research to ensure that you are not getting frauded as when you lose in crypto those funds are never coming back, I always keep an eye on some of the trusted websites like https://bullincrypto.com/  providing good technical analysis for most trusted projects like bitcoin, eth etc

Nice to see an explorer working. What's new about the later releases, checkpoints?

ChessCoin Wallet 1.4.6 - Electrum Client 1.02 -
The hard fork was reverted, look a few pages back. Not sure what this release matters, as the specs are the same as the running chain.

Thanks.  I tried to sync with an empty wallet and it said no connections.  I was getting connections when I used my wallet.

I then put in my old peers.dat and it's syncing and trying your empty wallet idea also now and it's working fine.

Yea, yobit is the only exchange, but their wallet is in maintenance. Anyway, I should sync my own wallet again some time.

Finally got around doing this. Always first sync with an empty wallet, so you don't end up on a fork. Staking nicely.

Can you upload the chain somewhere?

Hm. Datadir is 3.8Gb. If you want to speed up the sync, use connect= instead of addnode= in the conf with a peer that's on the right height. We're now at 2125965. Did that with a few other obscure coins, works ok. That way, you'll skip reorgs.

I started the old wallet up on a different computer and sync'd from scratch.  It's staking like crazy, 750 coins several times an hour.

Just tried it, that didn't work.

There are two blockchains.  The one that has my balance, and a new one.   Luckily, my balance was relatively small as I sold a lot of it back in June.

Very quiet here. Anyway, above method should work but only if you use the old client, not the release that was supposed to lessen the staking.

Thanks.  I will support the coin and buy and stake again.  Booting up the old wallet now on an old slow machine I use just for staking.  I think Yobit is the only exchange which is virtually worthless.

9 days passed...

Did you fix the problem yet?

If not... try command repairwallet

Also...
make sure your hashes are OK:

* https://github.com/chess-fan/blockhashes-of-ChessCoin

Thanks.  It does not have a repair wallet in the menu.  I tried to enter it at the console command line.
Do you know the exact syntax?

Close the wallet, make a backup of the wallet.dat, put in the chesscoin.conf file "reservebalance=9999999", restart the daemon or qt with flag "-rescan". That's going to take a long time, but unspent outputs should be recovered that way.

Thanks.  I will try that.  Incidentally, I kept the old blockchain folder, just relabelled it so the wallet would read it instead of the new one.   I see my coins there now.

I originally was having problems because it wasn't syncing.

My wallet is showing almost completely a zero balance after I've installed the new bootstrap.

It is in fact my old wallet as I see the old staking history but the balance is gone.
