You're right.  We should be GLAD they take our money, lie about when they are shipping, and offer no real information on what to expect until after its already been figured out.  Oh yeah, don't forget to wait for the big announcement tomorrow.  Lets just hope its just as exciting as last week's big shipping day.

Just to be sure, are you organizing a road trip to their facilities without actually knowing if they'll grant a tour? "We are the PAYING customers! We demand a tour!" That'll go over well. This thread is pathetic.

Thanks for taking the time to tell us. Smiley

Does BFL even allow tours? Seems like a huge waste of time for them.

I am genuinely interested to see what kind of company this is...

Additionally, several miners are getting concerned about not seeing a BFL single ship for 2+ weeks now (as per the tracking thread -- yes not everyone uses it...)

Also, I would like to see a MR in action and if happy might leave them a check for a 2nd unit.

This is starting to sound to me a little like movie Fan Boys:

...except...you guys aren't going to try stealing anything. I mean, you guys wouldn't try lifting an ASIC miner.... or anything like that....haha... ha  Undecided

lol @ BFL suddenly becoming the tourist destination for the nerdiest of nerds. BFL, don't forget to install a soft drink machine for the incoming basement-dwellers, preferably with Mountain Dew and Monster drinks. Grin Grin

Sonny told me I couldn't stop by the last time I asked about this when I was in town. If he agrees to do a "tour" or whatever, let me know when you guys will be there cause I'd like to drive down to Kansas City from Des Moines and get a tour as well.

Look guys - BFL are really busy this week and next week trying to ship the first batch of mini rigs.

Can you please show some consideration and muster some constraint, and postpone this time-consuming show-and-tell thing until after the the first batch of the mini rigs has been shipped?

Thank you.

Are you serious? What is a day of one person's time going to do when they have a estimated delivery of 12-15 weeks? Given past performance tack on another 6 weeks for good measure..

Who said anything about a whole day?  Give us the 5 minute tour during one of their cigarette breaks.

No such thing as a cheap flight anymore...

$400 seems about the cheapest I could find.  Not wanting to use miles for this.
