They wont stop Bitcoin,  and even they want to how can they?  Plus now there the super powers such as Russia and Korea that are now using bitcoins, so I am sure the Chinese governement is taking payments from North Korea for imports as well, they have no choice to join the party of be left behind.

Yesterday after reading that Japan has opened its way to Bitcoins exchange, many Chinese traders will move to Japan or South Korean exchange market.  Not to mention, Hong Kong is also a bitcoin player (Gatecoin). So this trader from China has shifted to other countries to continue to invest in the cryptocurrency.  China represented only 10-15 percent of the cryptocurrency market.  So even though China has banned the use of Bitcoin... Chinese traders will not stop as they see the future of bitcoins was brighter than ever...

Important to note China didn't ban use of bitcoin. Just the exchanges. OTC trades still happen.

Of course this was never going to "stop" bitcoin. But it might cause a little slow down  Wink
Definatelly... China is one of the biggest miner countries in the world cause of the speed of popularization of new things like bitcoin, that's why it wont stop until "the end".

China has not banned the use of bitcoin, but it seems to me that they are banned from exchanging crypto-currencies to the yuan. It also does not have a positive effect on the use of Chinese bitcoin. The Chinese government can't ban bitcoin. They decided to use bitcoin for investment inflow in dollars.

they also cant ban the yuan crypto exchange, they simply show that they are unpleased with it. they have good and bad reasons for it. humanist and anti humanist reasons,

so whatever.

China has not ban the use of bitcoin, rather they banned some ICOs i pressumed. This misconception is really spread out to the community which is a bit dissappointing. Why? Because before sharing something that has big or huge matters be sure that yoy have known enough and it is right. Because it is like spreading fake news already which is kinda sick.

Well the repercussions could be just way beyond China. Because other countries who are still in considering bitcoin to be legalized would rethink and can change their decision for or against bitcoin. Certainly JPM statement would also hurt the bitcoin and we know how badly the price had fallen and recovered well after that. How other countries look at it will needs to be looked upon.

It is very interesting, even their country have banned bitcoin but still their people are looking for other ways in order to continue and spread bitcoin. it is totally a very challenging in their part, but a big possibility that all this issues will be settled in short period of time.

If there is a will there will be always a way to do what you want. It is hard to stop Bitcoin in one country because you can do a lot of things as long as their is still Bitcoin around. The only way to stop Bitcoin is if all country will stand and ban all people in using Bitcoin that way whenever you go you'll not be able to access Bitcoin and there will be fear in every person who will try to access it.
Yes but I still think that this may happen if one or two big countries wish this to happen. They do not get their desired control over the economy with bitcoin and if a big country like China went on to ban it we could see a whole lot of countries coming in front to ban it. But thankfully things are currently under control.

ofcourse china won't stop bitcoin. just like facebook and google even if it's banned on china the networth of facebook and google is still at billion dollars so china is not that important when it comes on bitcoin. we can survive even without bigwhales of china even if the price dump that much and cause people to do panic selling there's still a lot of bigwhales who invest on bitcoin while the price are at low price.

"CHINA has not Stop BITCOINS afterall" Interesting title you got there, but the title itself is wrong. CHINA will never be able to stop bitcoin even if they own major portion of the total supply, it's decentralized, people around the world will always own some portion of it and the mining power always come across countries.

Talking about chinese people who shifting their coin to other country, it's really interesting, but I wonder if they're still have the citizenship as China citizen, it can be considered avoiding the law to get their money offshore isn't it?

And the PBOC are failing to prevent those to invest in the cryptocurrency, as far as i know there is a lot of way to invest in the crypto and in this day a lot of the system has used the internet as the main thing, that makes someone able to trade in the other countries. like what already did by me because i trade in the canadian exchange site but i'm not a chinese person.

The Chinese people are known to be very creative and resourceful and in this case they can use this great trait to continue doing business with Bitcoin although there are no more exchange allowed to operate within the jurisdiction of China. As long as they can have access to the internet, they can do business using exchanges abroad and this is actually what the internet is for...though now they have to worked on the possible blockage from the government censorship tendencies. China has a freak government who is always afraid of letting their people enjoy the usual freedom other countries are enjoying. I am then hoping that the new generation of leaders that will eventually take over the helm would have an open mind on new changes and new innovations that can take on the issue of control and freedom.

I think it took them many revisions and other cabinet meetings to really ban btc trading. I would agree that many would country just for btc but as far as i know, chinnese businessmen are already scattered around the world. In our country alone there a lot of chinnese businessmen who operates on different corporations. So i think they can still easily attain economic progress even with that btc ban.

They just wanted to regulate and earn from the traders and holders of crypto they seen some big money involved which they can't control so the only way is to ban for a while and find some ways to place any regulations for their benefits,,

Who wouldn't do that? Just imagine yourself into the same situation and your country has banned everything regarding the bitcoin. You hold a part of investment into it which you did from your salary, hard earned money then how can you tolerate the fact that you have to let go your investment just within the next night after your date? Duh! That would be idiotic thing to do and people will always find a way to get into it again and grab the loss that they might have incurred during that transition period.

It is very difficult for them to ban bitcoins. It's easy to say it but doing the work really will be difficult. How could it be that they could not break the connection of bitcoins? Everywhere as long as you have internet you will have access to your accounts. And they can actually inspect each of us and find out every lifestyle it has. And that's the hardest thing to do with the multitude of people in the world. Can you ask the people one by one?
