Any figure they are giving is incorrect until they have done corona test for all the people in the whole country because there are positive corona cases even for asymptomatic people so many don't even realized that they had corona and died.

I'm not believe again with covid-19 data in China. What's your thought?

I agree with franky1. This is not China hiding its figures.
If someone says 'my previous figures were incorrect, these are the new figures' - then that should make you trust them more, not less.

Countries are overwhelmed, health services are overwhelmed, people who are dying of this are not just dying in hospital, people are dying in care homes and indeed in their own homes.

Data takes time to come in. There is inevitably a degree of late reporting when you are collecting information from disparate sources, especially in a country like China with a billion people.

The problem is that we need the latest data now, right now, all the time. The initial figures will be just that, initial, and subject to revision.

this is not china hiding things. every country is initially only counting hospital admissions, these new numbers are those dying at home/retirement villages, etc due to reasons and symptoms and tests that confirm covid related

the UK and the US are in this same boat too.. many other countries too but the most finger pointy ones are analyzinstuff the same way.
the UK this week has only released info that while they had 11k in stats released to the corona reporting sites. they had another ~50% that died at home..
US are only reporting hospital admissions and have yet to release info on the numbers that died outside the hospital due to covid.

there is no conspiracy. there is no china lied and everyone else is honest.
its just the way reporting is done where only hospital admissions can show fast accurate results promptly and verifiably so all countries decided to concentrate on those numbers.

China revised its official death toll for coronavirus on Friday, adding 1,290 to the number of dead.

Prior to the change the number of those reported to have died of the virus in China since January was 3,342. Analysts point out that this revision increases the numbers by almost 40%. That’s big. It’s also important because numerous models have relied on China’s numbers since the virus began to spread in order to plan their own lockdowns and mitigation efforts. In short: If China’s death toll was larger early on, and many of those deaths went unrecorded, this has serious ramifications for why things may have turned out so differently in Europe, the US and other countries.
