I'm really not surprise of this because finally blockchain is a powerfull tool that could be use in all domains that exist. There is always a functionnality that could be an advantage for a sector. I'm less happy for military purpose but if it could help to minimize back market and commission it a step forward in this area.

Is this even possible? I mean how does block chain can be contribute with the military thing? But if you talk like that of the wind talker movie where the staring is johnny cage. they some kind of code when talking to each other in a war. maybe that's how things goes with this block chain.

wasn't blockchain supposed to be a tech that came FROM the military and that was being used for many years before disclosure??
do anyone believe that the military tech is less advanced than the tech we have at our disposal? should we believe that blockchain advances were unknown to the military and they are trying to catch up?

Blockchain technology can streamline all sorts of government services, take a look at THEKEY which is a NEO based project working with Chinese government departments. Military will not be different in their quest to save money
This technology utilization is happening but they were not taking the any crypto platform option being legally. If the government takes anything they doesn't look for the legitimate or anything.
But if the people want to use they are putting too much restrictions for them.
Since in democratic country still there is no power use on technology also openly.

The military always uses the most advanced technology. The Pentagon already has a quantum computer. What is surprising? the military - industrial complex uses the technology of the blockchain - this is the norm. All that is cost much develop, use now for military purposes and then in other less important areas.
China, Russia, the United States are superpowers that do not skimp on security costs.
But for some reason it seems to me that they will use centralized blockchain systems. It is not logical to show competitors your costs or development in blockchain network.

I always say that blockchain technology is able to adapt with any situation, even blockchain will give benefit to all government, financial, health, religious and military systems.
I think the benefits of blockchain for military institutions is as a commodity for storing weapons transactions, and recording every war strategy.

Is anyone even a little surprised that the military all over the world is looking into blockchain? Whenever a new idea comes along then the military will look at it's impact and will if it shows the promise they will either buy up the idea or subvert it for their own ends.
I dont think anyone is surprised at all that blockchain technology will be used
by any military because blockchain technology is being used as part of the
current industrial revolution along with other new technologies. I would be
surprised by people being surprised.

Besides the United States, Russian military officials have also been exploring use cases for blockchain.

I think not only in Chaina, Russia and USA but also every big house in world are in race of blockchain. As they are technologically strong and can catch up new things very firstly. Blockchain is such kind of technology that you can not give up it with out knowing. so i think it is more please for us who are related with blockchain.

the evolution of blockhain technology will surely continue to evolve over time and I think it is not impossible if the military system in a country will implement blockhain technology for a country's defense and security strategy because blockhain technology is a technology that has a locked system so it is very suitable for applying to the military system.

The military always uses advanced technology. However, the use of BLOCKCHAIN in China, Russia and the US does not in any way affect the lobbying of the legalization of cryptocurrencies.
Of course it won't affect the legalization of crypto because crypto and blockchain are different. And I'm not surprised by those countries taking advantage of blockchain. Everyone is trying to get on board with this new technology, just like when they first notice how Internet will be the future.
@hugeblack, I'm also confused as well perhaps the OP thinks that bitcoin or blockchain are interchangeable, but you have made a good definition of each one so I hope that OP gets a clear picture now.
