I agree with you, the strength we put to gain knowledge and understanding about crypto today, will definitely help us tomorrow but na waiting most of the newbies no try to understand be that, dey think all the time wey people dey wasted to acquire knowledge about crypto is just wasting of time, all they care for is how to make quick money and get out of trenches. Even people we see say they have make it through crypto no perform the magic one day, they went through a lot to gain more knowledge require in cryptocurrency.

In the country where our government no care about how we take survive, cryptocurrency has created a way for us to get out of the trenches, it's an opportunity for us to make money since dem no bother to give us job, we need to grab any opportunity we see to change our lives. So, if you are newbies no allow your village people follow you to believe that learning about cryptocurrency is a waste of time. It's better to act now than to regret it later.

First of all, Bitcoin investment or cryptocurrency investment is not a get rich quick scheme, before investing into Bitcoin, you need a source of income, so that you no go fall back to your Bitcoin holdings for survival, though na investment wey fit make you grow rich on the longer run, only if you get a good stash of Bitcoin in your possession, but nothing dy certain in this crypto space

Well I commend your effort in trying to create an awareness about crypto investing but then it would have been better if you had stressed the fact that it's not a job opportunity neither a scheme that gets people rich within split seconds even if there are cases that may want to look like such but fact remains that nothing good and sustainable come easy and amount of work is always needed to get you succeeding in the crypto space.

You should be aware there are people who invest in other sectors outside the crypto space and are wealthy so you don't have to be in the crypto space to get wealthy investing in as much as it's a good investment opportunity but isn't guaranteed to necessarily be the only route to wealth so you could highlight all of this and your thread would have been more relatable.

It's not about choosing Crypto but choosing the right Crypto to deal with cause their are lots of cryptocurrencies lately and if he's saying choose crypto in general someone that's not very learned about the crypto space would decide to choose shitcoins out of ignorance so I think he should been specific on the particular Cryptocurrency which is Bitcoin (the best Cryptocurrency one could imagine). However, it is an shame that our government that's failed to manage our economy and reduce the unemployment rate in our country is fighting tooth and nail to frustrate the youths by placing regulations and bans on exchanges and Cryptocurrency at large which is helping to reduce the unemployment and poverty rate among youths. Anyways Nigerian's are survivals and despite all odds we'll adapt and overcome any challenges so whether our government likes it or not we'll survive. Somehow, lot of people they assume say crypto na a form of employment scheme but not all, nah just a knowledge necessary to acquire in our contemporary society to help you stay up your game financially. The very moment I saw this thread, I remembered a random photo that I screenshot from Twitter. And in that photo, it says "Bitcoin isn't for getting rich, it's for staying wealthy". Now, in as much this statement means a lot of things, people won't still interpret the correct thing. We have to understand that this crypto is not a place where u just move into and start making money. There are several ways to making money especially with Bitcoin, but one of the most convenient ways is to have something tangible to start with.

I don't dispute the fact that knowledge is very important, but you see ehn, money still has a place of it's own in the whole concept.

If not bitcoin investment and forum here what would have happened to many youths in Nigeria. This has helped many here and we thank God for those who brought us to the ecosystem. And the government know that this is helping the youths that they refused to employ and they started fighting with the exchanges again to frustrate the youths. But upon that we still surviving because bitcoin is a decentralised system whereby they can't control it.

Nobody should take bitcoin as a means of getting rich quickly and that is an another area people dey misunderstand am. But long term investment and patient can make them do well at the end. Investment more in bitcoin.

I think it will be wrong to generalize cryptocurrrency as a good investment advice instead you should be more specific about the ones that are worth investing on, perhaps as cryptocurrency has also given us good hopes after we ventured in them, you should also know that there are cryptocurrency that has dealt with people badly as well and we should not forget that cryptocurrency has high risks and high volatility so anyone investing should not expect it to be lovey-dovey all the time, sometimes the market may not be favourable to you so we should have that at the back of our minds so that we don't invest with a wrong mindset or be clouded with wrong beliefs.

To be honest this crypto space has helped alot of us in this country, especially as a side hustle . Because now and days some salary ain't helping at all , because of how the prices of things just keep on increasing. So alot of student are passing through tough time in school and this space as also help to make things lighter for some students that took their time to learn about, if you go to X (twitter) you will see alot of student and persons that are doing fine just by doing skme web 3 jobs and stuff, which also a means to earn in this space.


If you read op post you will see that he or she didn't mentioned bitcoin investment, rather he or she made use of crypto. Which means op is talking about the various means one can use to earn in this space by using the word "crypto "  .  So his talking about the whole space not just referring to bitcoin investment alone . Because in this space one can earn through various means , and bitcoin investment is still among those means ( but is more of a future thing) .

They're some folks that have stopped working due to some certain stuff , but now they are relying on their bitcoin investment they built over years , because they took their time to build a better bitcoin investment by accumulating, especially those that are early investors ( that invested in bitcoin when the price was still 2 digit) . So one can also  build a better bitcoin investment now which may sustain them in the nearest future.

Bitcoin investment is not an employment of any kind, this means you literally referring to trading which we can not also categorize as  an employment also. Crypto knowledge is helpful and a good way to earn some money which can be used to satisfy certain needs but not good enough if we decide to solely rely on this profits, either by trading, investment or any other means.

Every crypto enthusiastic is expected to have a proper source of income, a jobless person who learns about Bitcoin without a financial stance will be unable to invest  because of low funds, same goes to traders without a good earning job, the user is busy causing more harm, eventually the little he has finishes then there will be non left, a quick call back to the trenches.

In a country filled with unemployment and bad governance,crypto stood to create wealth and job opportunities for the youths not minding your status.You don't have to be great to start your crypto journey ,you have to start to be great.
