I don't think bitcoin will be able to get to $700 this year. I'm hoping and aiming for this to happen to bitcoin next year though.
Bitcoin has been going down slowly, I would gladly take a rise to $500 right now.

I feel that the next resistance is $500. The price of bitcoin is yet to beach $500. It has stayed in the high four hundreds but that is all.
I doubt that the price will almost doubled for christmas, you seems to be optimistic but maybe for the 2016 Christmas the price will reach $700
doubling is almost $900, here we have not even 70% increase , big difference, it can be possible to reach 700 as unstable value, but in 10 days i'm not sos ure anymore
i would not bet on it, at best $500-600 range
I agree, last week I thought it still would've been possible to reach this if a pump would have happened.

Even that seems very unlikely.Volume is going down, red candles the last 3-4 days in the 1d charts and holidays are coming soon.
We will stay where we are, around 430-440, or decline a bit, worst case 380-400 I think.
500 will come back next year before halving, pre-pump!

Yes but this will only happen if a pump is coming up, I'm not too sure of this and if this will happen before the year ends.

Still a good 48+ hours to go for x-mas, we can still do it. The price raises in Bitcoin are insanely quick, therefore a 200 USD pump in 2 days is possible. Im still going for the 500 USD prediction as a more prudent prediction. In any case, this year was fantastic.
You may say the same about going down. Once, a dump happens it may go really quick. However at this stage, I believe that there is no big move in the cards. Just the regular Bitcoin story, a little bit of sidewards movement with $50 on each side. For now, the cluster between $350 and $400 should provide a solid floor. I expect at least one more test of these levels, a positive test though.

From what I'm seeing I think we're already on a floor, maybe till the end of the year. I do not see any cause for a pump this coming Christmas so I believe we'll be staying at the $430-$440 level for a while.

Like most of these forecasts in the threads that are less than pages long. Most of them are posted when we see a rise or fall by more than $10. And most are not supported by any arguments.
Regarding support levels, there is quite a solid support zone between $350 and $400 that should be tested once again soon.

I would not hope for a 500 or a 700 value. The decline has started and it won't take long before we will see the actual value of bitcoin which is in my perception around a 350 - 400 price.

500 is possible by Xmas. 700 isn't happening within the next few weeks though barring some unexpected uber bullish news hitting the mainstream media.

anything can happen in bitcoin market but $500 looks more reasonable price than $700

Yes holding now make sense, altough i have to say i did sell some because seeing is much sell pressure is uncalled for. Meaning something is up.
I still have some, ready to sell when we get to 500 USD.
