Your giveaway looks pretty much big.So made this a successful conteast you have acquired trust by participants and the only one way is escrow.In the case you're low ranked member or there have no reason people trust you without escrow.

Why you're afraid to use escrow? there are many trusted and reputable members here that can escrow your funds, your funds are safety unless you are not doing badly.

I think many members will be join on your campaign once you escrow the funds.

1BTC is nice prize but you better escrow that amount or atleast show where those fund you have stored with signed message of you being real owner of that address. Also you need to explain detail regarding how you gonna pick winner, my suggestion is to have 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize with those 1BTC distributed in 50, 30 and 20% respectively.
