That would be great if it's going to be a pure service without having a token or crowd sale. Good luck to this project but I think this is going to be costly for the team but if you can attain to build this interesting idea, once it has been launched I think it would be a very usable system.

Will you apply phone number verification for that? We have some centralized platform like google who have already implemented this and that's very effective to prevent the spammers.
Another problem should be the priv key that must be used to open the email. For me, it's much better when your platform will not directly use priv key as a key to open the email consider about it's a very sensitive case.
It should be a good idea to create another encryption for the privatekey and that can be used to open the email.
I just think about there was a lot of the trap in the internet.
It's too risky use priv key as a key to sign in on your email.

You can think it is just like 'Myetherwallet' , we prefer users to import their keystore and they have the password for the keystore, then users can use it to login, sendind mail or decrypt mail ..etc

We won't do verification for user phone because we need to make sure users are anonymous!

Very true. if this really exists and works optimally the mail service uses blockchain technology. if this project happens and works to its full potential, it is likely to rival Gmail, Yahoo or other mail services. Blockchain anonymity is very awake or very privacy, everyone wants it.

Your idea is brilliant and your choice of ethereum network will expose your service to a ready market.

I like the idea of using the public key inn the mail system but i do not support that of the private key, you may use something else like mnemonic phrase to represent the ethereum private key otherwise your service shall turn to a ready hunting ground for wallet hackers.

I am not sure what you want to do, but if it's an e-mail system that can send mails to anybody - including traditional e-mail addresses -, your idea will become the heaven of spammers and could destroy the project and the underlying coin too if it's not powerful enough (when govt. agencies will come after the spammers).

So while truly anonymous and safu sounds great, if you don't have logs to save you in case of anything, you may get into trouble.

Of course, you can disappear like Satoshi, but unlike him, if your invention will be ultimate tool for spammers, you won't be loved.

All the things we are building is to protect anonymous and data safety.

As you know this is a p2p mail system, so if you sent mail to traditional e-mail addresses or received mail from traditional e-mail addresses, that won't be encrypted but you are still keeping 'anonymous'.

We have consider about spammer email. We have some solutions below:

1. We can build a vote page for spam mail address
2. We can find the Spammer by our own black list
3. As you are using Ethereum account, if you want to use our mail system for business, you can set a receive fee, people who sending mail to you without pay will be filtered.

We have considered about lot of bad things , and most of the questions are already have answers.

FYI, this is wrong. It has to be encrypted by the reciever's public key, not your public key.

It has to be encrypted by your reciever's public key to ensure only they can decrypt it, and it has to be signed by your private key so they know it's coming from you.

Yes, we need to store the data, but it's store at the server not in blockchain. Because our goal is to build a p2p mail system, every data will be encrypted by users public key , that means nobody can see the data except for the private key controller ,just like the eth in your ethereum address. We must make sure , this system is esay , low cost and fast. So you can think it is a hybrid system.

Since you mentioned 'anonymous' mailing system, I think a privacy-focused infrastructure would be more appropriate. However, the idea of using the public key for encryption and the private key for decryption seems like a workable alternative.

Well.. for that to work as far as I know you will have to create a decentralized network of nodes that also provide data storage functionality - because where are all those emails be stored? Of course that the data nodes should be encrypted. To achieve true decentralization you need quite a good amount of nodes in the network spread across the world so you might have to take that into account. Wish you good luck with your project and I'll follow the development.
