Wallet is staking nicely. How much is the masternode collateral.

10,000.0 CIV for a Masternode, just in case anyone is wondering.

So the coin is $5 on TradeOgre, does that mean those who put up masternodes now have $50,000 each to dump? Thread has a lot of missing info, what does that mean “we have accidentally enabled Zerocoin”? Yes, the community was made before the launch of the coin. But it seems that the whole community was focused only on the launch of this coin.

I don’t see any innovation, but only the desire to baselessly pump this coin and cash out. Just my 2 cents.

The community got 100K+ airdropped and have been happily staking and pooling resources since day 1....their own exchange and a few other services on the way....EastCoastCrypto is an entire community not just one person...but of course you can expect that sort of reaction from BCT

Join the discord, ask questions, learn. Basically CIV will start as a coin similar to BNB. Exchange coming soon, that gives it a use case ASAP. Whitepaper shortly. This is a community first coin, built strong and with purpose. zCiv privacy features, soon zCiv will be able to stake as well as the currently staking CIV. This is a project in its infancy. Learn, ask questions, and don't just assume it's a pump and dump

Yes he did videos of Bitconnect but was not a paid promoter. He had stopped doing videos on BCC in April of last year I believe. Also at the end of any video it was stated that this is not investment advice and only invest what you plan to loose. If you want to blame him for your losses then so be it.

East Coast Crypto? Weren't you the regional promoters of Bitconnect for the eastern United States?
If that is you, how do you expect investors to invest in this new coin you are offering after billions of dollars of investors money were lost in that bitconnect scheme that you were a major promoter of?

I just recently got introduced to Civitas and I wish I had more to invest. Never before have I seen such a large, committed community invested into the long term success of a cryptocurrency. I'm glad I got into this now.

OK I am confused... it says it is a FULLY POS coin, how are you mining it?

It was initially pow until a certain block now it is POS only. See purecanes explanation above. It tells it very clearly what happens.

Looks interesting. I have a few questions:

It doesn't appear to be minable anymore. Is this correct? It looks like ~400,000 were premined and ~30,000 were mined? Could you explain your decision making process here?

How does Civitas differ from other coins. What makes it special. What was it forked from? What changes are you planning on making over the next few years. Is there a whitepaper?

Do you have any plans for other exchanges in the near future? Do you have a public road-map available?

Is there any way to acquire coins right now besides buying, such as a faucet?

That is correct, we have discontinued mining. The Zerocoin protocol was never designed for PoW and due to a bug we decided to enable Zerocoin early as well as PoS. The coin is a hybrid created from BTC/Dash/PIVX algorithms. We have had some talk of creating a whitepaper in the near future. Exchanges will be added as the coin gains momentum and an audience,  you probably know adding coins to exchanges can be an expensive endeavor. As of now Tradeogre.com and the CIV marketplace in our discord are the only place to acquire Civitas.

as an open minded potential coin buyer, the lack of info feels super scammy.
too bad.

Your second post being negative towards this project could be viewed as super scammy also....thanks for being so open minded.
