What I have been trying to explain is that I had about .00245 btc on the computer genie readout when the when the last block was found and I did not receive a payout. Any ideas?
... since after is representative of a new block and not a block past ...

Faheshang, I think a lot of folks get confused on this, so I will try to clarify. All the data on the pool site (and thus on CG's page) represent the current work and the state for/toward the next block.

Immediately after finding a block, the coinbase explorer will show what was paid out on the just-found block, but anything on the ckpool site (or on CG's page) will show data for the next, yet-to-be-found block. This means you can't compare the two directly, other than keeping your own track of where you are in the pool, and then seeing that turn to payout on a block-find.

I hope that helps!
Yes I understand this. My derp on my user page and the readout from computergenie were steadily rising before the last block was found. Just before the block was found I was at around .00245 and after the block was found it was slightly higher and is still steadily increasing. Maybe the "work" list on ckpool.org still had me as postponed when the last block was found. I wasn't checking the work list constantly like I was checking the derp value.

If that is, in fact, true (meaning that you checked the instant before we hit a block and not right after, since after is representative of a new block and not a block past) then I leave this question to ck (as my page is nothing more than a literal pull of the pool's JSON)...
Maybe -ck can explain my confusion over the tool readout and the corresponding derp on my user page. Thanks

...Also, the computer genie readout seems misleading. "If we hit a block right now, I'd get:

     0.019927% of the current payout

     0.00250248 BTC

     $16.56 (at $6618.34 BTC/USD)"
....
What do you feel is "misleading" about that?  Huh
If we hit a block, at that instant, that's exactly what you'd get paid in that block.

Only thing misleading is our luck right now.

I havent opened the Winderlea from before yet. I suppose the right thing to do is wait? Should we take a poll?

*edit to denote that our luck is awesome right now*
Actually, the other thing that is misleading is that I did not receive a payout when the computer genie readout was about .00245 btc at the last block and I was on the payout list but not on the coinbase list for the block at btc.com.

Only CG can answer to his work. I know he was kind enough to build that for people with basic questions like time to block, ramp up duration etc. it's not misleading. It's a helpful tool.

You probably just missed cut off while ramping up when the block hit, looks like 0.0019 was the last before alternating payout. With 60 th/s your derp will move into a solid payout rate even while ramping up here, which it may have already.

it is like your test average in school.

5 tests  need to be done

here 5 blocks need to be done in terms of shares  about 5,363,678,461,481  is 100% of even luck.

so if you are 65th

for block not five in a row

you are 65 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0

if you are in 65th place  for 5 sets of shares in a row

you are 65 + 65 + 65 + 65 + 65   this will get you paid
I used to be on Kano Pool so I somewhat understand 5N ramp up. What I don't understand is the differences between Kano Pool and Ckpool.
Also, the computer genie readout seems misleading. "If we hit a block right now, I'd get:

     0.00250248 BTC

5 tests  need to be done
so if you only took 1

and did 100 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 you are 100/5 = a 20 not a 100

Thanks for the quick answer.

you simply may have been number 65  for a few hours and not number 65 for 6 or 7 days

Faheshang,

Philipma's right on...postponed for a few blocks now, so the short answer is that you're just ramping up.

Without getting into herp and all, you can kinda see that by looking at the current hash-rates (1m, 5m) v the long-term ones (1d, 7d).

With the current hash you are putting in, and assuming you are running those 24/7, looks like you are maybe ~20% ramped up. You will need to keep all running for another 8d to reach your full share-potential.

I'm #65 on the current work list, showing a payout. However, I'm not listed in the coinbase list in the block explorer.
Any ideas?

show the btc address and we can try to figure it out.

LOL - they have ~50x more hash than the No. 2 miner and 107/117 of the pool hash. We are all along for a long, slow ride.
