Most of us wait for bitcoin gold right now. These kind of processes can take a while. I recommend you to be more patient for now. After all, they should give BTG in the end. I don't think it will be the opposite situation.

You are not making any sense. Bitcoin Gold is already launched and you can claim right now. What are you talking about?

So I had some BTC on Multibit HD wallet. Then in November I saw that multibit HD was no longer supported and that BTC had forked BCH. So I transferred my BTC multibit account/wallet words to Electrum and then claimed my BCH to Electron. Then, on reading advice to not keep my BTCs in the Electron wallet/computer that I set up my BCH/Electron, I sent my BTC to an android 'Bitcoin.com' wallet.

Now... I've realised that I have some BTG to claim. But I can't retrieve it. My first thought is that my BTG is in the multibit/Electrum wallet - but I've gone through and tried to sweep private keys in to a BTG account on Coinomi, but there is nothing there. Does anyone have any idea of where I'm going wrong?

Thanks

Try putting your Bitcoin address (Public Address) here and see if you have any Bitcoin Gold balance in it: https://btcdiv.com/

If it shows you BTG balance, then we'll proceed further.

They now have a working wallet. If you don't want to load the entire blockchain data, you can use Coinomi wallet on your phone to claim BTG

Hey pal, I suggest you to wait until the launched of Bitcoin Gold. Do not be in a rush in claiming your BTG.

BTG is live and running (for a month now).

Hello guys!

I just wanted to share with you an instructional video where you can watch step by step how to claim any coin after a fork, the example is based on Bitcoin Gold and Blockchain.info but it can also be used for Bitcoin Cash or Bitcoin Diamond.

The video is in this Youtube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmS9OA1rlag

This guy is a new account posting scammer websites requesting your wallet seed phrase.
The website in the youtube video has already been taken down.

Note:  Never put your seed in another website!

How do I claim BTG from blockchain.info?
Always being fast above one's shadow is what has really made so many people to end up in the hands of scammers while trying to claim their forked chain. Chill out bro and you will not need anyone to tell you if blockchain is going to be giving you your BTG cause you will most definitely know and it will be available to be claimed in your wallet.

How do I claim BTG from blockchain.info?

You seem to be in a hurry. BTG has not launched yet. Wait until the main net is operational and there is a working wallet.

PS: I'm not sure if blockchain.info is even going to support BTG.
Yes Bitcoingold blockchain is still not public, team are privately mining as much as they can before releasing wallets for public. I am quite sure that blockchain.info or any other big wallets, exchanges will never gonna support this shit coin.

Premined, not eligible developers, supported by very few people.
Supported by very few people even makes it sound good, it is only supported by the developers and those behind the scam called a project.

I really do not expect that coin to end up being supported by reliable exchanges and unless the developers decide to make some changes, nothing will make them ever to be relevant and they will remain a shitcoin that they are with no support whatsoever.

You have to wait till  Blockchain adds the option to claim you're BTG like they did with BCC took like 2-3 weeks if I am sure, so you can wait till they add it or use your private keys to claim your BTG.

No matter how shit this coin is, it is free money. I will dump them for real BTC as soon as it is launched.

I think most people are gonna do that Tongue Tongue but it's not launched yet so I guess we have to wait and be first man to dump it Tongue Tongue
