This works for standard and multisig wallets, like Electrum, for BTG now but in fact for any coin based on Bitcoin code, BCH, BTC, zcach, etc (and yes there are dev fees as clearly stated in the description with even a link to people that dislikes it a bit)

Probably not totally trivial to use but still easier than whatever exists, and you don't need to sync a node and your wallet, that's the whole purpose of this tool

Anyone here has done this?  I was going to install a virtual machine... not sure how to do that as im not computer tech but someone here mentions that could mess up the nodes in electrum?  I dont know what that means but anyone here did it with one machine only and if so... how?

Searching google reveals some thread of people having problems, like Electrum Cash not finding any servers.

Even if your RAM is way too low and it's like pulling taffy through molasses, the process you're talking about going through would only have to be done once and you will get your BCC.

For what you're talking about don't even touch that, it's all command line and would be pretty difficult. If you're ready Windows of any kind, just grab something like virtualbox, and run an earlier version of Windows that you have the product key for still. You should be care in not losing BTC which trying to claim BCC.

I don't know what your exact setup is, but I think the best solution for you would be to set up some sort of virtual machine. Using some pre-existing software, that could be a little bit intensive for some slower computers but for the purposes of you need that might work. If you're running Windows 10, there is an option to setup a Linux shell in the background.

First of all must wait patiently until there will be a 100% safe way to claim my BCH from Electrum wallet.

Only then, after I have the BCH, can start thinking of selling it.

Don't be a rush to try to sell your BCH because of value:

1) This value is not real, nobody can't send their BCH in exchange yet

2) Transaction will take a huge amount of time (maybe 2-3 days) because block are still mined slowly, so very long confirmation time

3) If you rush it, you risk to loose your BTC so be carefull.

Be careful man, there is no 100% safe method as of this moment. Better to wait.

Hmm...it seems that the best thing to do is to simply wait patiently few days / weeks, until there will be a clear solution for claiming BCC from Electrum wallet without any risk.

I can't take any kind of risk because I have a lot of BTC in my Electrum wallet and of course can't afford to lose anything.

People here are dam in hurry of moving out the BTC and start trading. Lols. Why do you want to move it so early as electrum has not yet published the required exchanger to trade BCC and BCH.  You should be little conservative about this situation as anything can happen. Then electrum won't be helping you out with your lost bitcoin.

Read that earlier, fucking terrible. I desperately want the BCH associated to my private keys in Core but I'm not going to risk anything until it feels safer to do so.

First make at least 3 encrypted backups of your wallet.dat file and move atleast some of them to other computers or upload a copy to the web for storage. (make sure your password is strong) and change the file name or hide it in an image.
Then delete (or just cut/paste to your desktop) your wallet.dat file and make a new one. Make encrypted copes and Back it up just like the old one... then (make sure you don't get them mixed up!)
Copy the receiving address of your new wallet.dat. Then replace your new wallet.dat file for your old one.
Send your Bitcoins from the old wallet.dat to the new wallet.dat receiving  address.

Your old wallet should now be empty of Bitcoin but will have valid keys for Bitcoin cash.
Your new wallet.dat file will hold all your Bitcoins if you did it right.

uninstall the Bitcoin client and install Bitcoin cash client (using your old wallet.dat file) Now you can send your Bitcoin cash without fear of losing Bitcoin.

After you are done delete the Bitcoin CAsh client and run 9 million virus scans (BECAUSE FUCK THAT GOD DAM SCAM COIN!) then reinstall bitcoin client with your new wallet.dat file.

Bitcoin Cash is full retard it will take you 2 days just to send your BCC to an exchange to dump by the time it gets 20 confirmations it will be worthless.

Can you explain to me why people are using such terms as "redeem my Bitcoin Cash"?

As far as I thought, when we sell Bitcoin Cash we also lose the equivalent amount worth of Bitcoin. It can't be the case that everyone is getting free money... right? Am I missing something?

To summarize your options I can say that these are possible and the last one is not.

Cell Phone
     From what I know Electrum has an android app for their Bitcoin Wallet, which you can safely transfer your Bitcoins. Take Note: Transfer your Bitcoin do not enter the seed of your first wallet (it will also transfer the hidden Bitcoin if you do).

Other App/ Online Bitcoin Wallet
     Sending your Bitcoin to a new wallet provider is a simple technique as transacting with Bitcoin is now safe. With this technique you will be transferring your Bitcoin out of the Electrum Wallet

DO NOT INSTALL A 2ND OPERATING SYSTEM
     Just like what Electrum officially announced you need to transfer your Bitcoin into a different machine, it can still mess up your nodes even if you have a different o.s.

I used Coinomi mobile app on my android phone. From the BitcoinCash wallet i swept my old BTC private keys (I had already emptied them in regular BTC chain) and voila my coinomi had my BitcoinCash coins in it. From there you can send to an exchange that does allow BCH to BTC trades. I went for viaBTC but wish I hadnt as although i converted the coins to BTC they require 20 confirmations until you can withdraw. My transaction is 22 hrs old and still only has 12 confirmations...

Please refrain from using electron cash. There are some issues with it. I tried to install it in my smartphone, and it was asking permission to read and modify the contents in my SD card. I immediately denied it the permission and deleted the files.

Well, you can use a mobile wallet (like Coinomi) and redeem your BCH.
Or you can use a portable version of electrum, first move all your BTC to this new wallet, then delete the old (empty) one you have on your computer and install a Bitcoin Cash wallet on your computer. Then import your private keys in your BCH wallet to claim these coins.

Guys install a second operating system!
For instance download and install virutal box. Start it and install Linux, Ubuntu or whatever.
Download Electron Cash in that virtual System.
In your first system create anothe wallet with Electrum. Send your funds to that new wallet.Now your BTC will be safe!
Then use the seed  and/or private keys from your old electrum wallet to get your BCC/BCH in your Electron Cash wallet in your virtual system.
It's not that difficult! From your virtual system and the Electron Cash wallet you send your new BCH funds to an exchange of your choice.
However right now the Bcash chain isn't creating any Block for more than 10 hours now. Patience is needed!
