I don't know if it works with MOD bios. I don't mess around with that - maybe someone else knows. It works just fine with RX480's. Here's a picture of Claymore 11.1 linux on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS using 6 RX480's:

did you ever tried Optiminer on Ubuntu 16.04? People get 280-290 H/s on RX480 AFTER fees, not before (what you are posting).
Small difference, but still.

I get 305 per RX480 with optiminer
I have 18 RX480, do the maths, its a huge difference.

ok, so I can give optiminer a try. It says on the github page to use linux driver 16.40.5. I can't find that. I can find 16.40, and 16.50, but not 16.40.5. What's the linux driver version to use?

Yes of course. Mixed combinations work normal. Tested with 16.11.1 drivers, all works normal and good speed.
AsRock FM2+ BTC Board, Win7/x64 Ultimate, 6xGpuMod.

Sorry for offtopic, what board you recomend for FM2+ socket?

ASRock FM2A88X Extreme 6+ on my most recent builds, but I prefer to do 3 card builds (it's got a pair of 1x slots on it I don't use though).

I'm planning to wait for AM4 boards to start arriving retail before I even think about my next new buildup.

guys do you have information about hashrate of gtx 1080 on zcash?

Wrong thread, check NiceHash or EBWF threads as Claymore is AMD only.

I've been thinking of patching the memory straps of my HD7950 cards. They both have Hynix VRAM so they should be suitable for this hack. Is it enough for me to follow the steps on this page: ?
http://www.overclock.net/t/1554360/tahiti-memory-timings-patch-for-hynix-vram

Basically: download the BIOS file, open it in VBE7 and save it & use the patch tool to implement the BIOS file?

tnx for your response for my last question

my motherboard  is z97 gaurd pro and i have 5 r9 390x can i use all of them on windows 7 64?

Absolutly YES. Big chance that even 6 of them will work normal (and that is not the case with RX series).

 Shocked holy-lee-crap

Had a lot going on over the holidays and being sick.....just had a chance to grab 11.1.
went from high 280's (intensity on the 6 version is like 4 on each card) to 660~670 steady!
running 1 - R9 270x 2GB and 2 - R9 270x 4GB and a HD7850 2 GB. The HD 7850 2 GB runs the video on the host computer as well.
Used to slow the vid down on that card but not now. Oh , and the 11.1 runs them at 6 Intensity.

btw - all stock clocks,win 7 - 64, 8gb ram, 15.12 drivers.
Not changing a thing, copied bat file from 6 to 11.1 and just let it ride on flypool.
This is amazing.

As always Claymore ....you rock!

optiminer 1.4.0 card  5 - r9 390 -1755 h/s  Grin

Hey, I just realized I have an R9 390 in one of my boxes! I swung all my Ethereum miners over to Zcash because I reran the profitability numbers on Coinwarz and figured it was the thing to do.

So with Claymore 11.1 on Linux on a stock R9 390 I'm getting 345 H/s before dev fees. Pretty close to the Optiminer number because 5x 345 would be 1725

my 390 are ~365 H/s and my 290x are ~340 H/s in optiminer, stock bios and overclocked.

You're right, what I am posting is before fees. 2% of 260 is 5, so after fees it would be about 255.

I have not tried Optiminer. Might have to do that. Depends on how well it works on Sapphire Nitro R9 fury. Since Ethereum looks like it is not going proof of stake in 2017 I'll probably swing my RX480's back to Ethereum and keep mining Zcash on R9 Fury cards.
