We've thoroughly studied the Bitcoin client from within and have found an almost imperceptible but very significant flaw (associated with the commission)

Commission? There is no 'commission' in Bitcoin, there is a TX fee. So from the off these fuckers clearly don't know much about the technology, let alone enough to have 'thoroughly studied the Bitcoin client from within' (within? LOL).

This is a common scam, to claim to have 'discovered' a flaw which will make YOU earn money for nothing. As has been said, funny how they always want to involve other people in their 'method'. All for the princely sum of 2 BTC!

We should probably have a sticky thread that lists strange websites like this which newbie's ought to stay away from.

There is a thread but it isn't a sticky. It already has clever-bitcoin listed: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/all-links-in-this-section-should-be-viewed-as-scam-sites-a-warning-1339672

Obviously it seems impossible task and they are trying to avoid getting attention due to some odd reason. I thought of adding it here, since others could contribute probably next time someone searches through bitcointalk, they could actually find this thread and stay away.

I did not send anything, but tried registering with dummy emails and the btc address seem to be new for every user. So there would not be any record in blockchain. The valid transactions that was listed might be totally be someone else's transaction history that these people found out somehow.

We should probably have a sticky thread that lists strange websites like this which newbie's ought to stay away from.

Got this from one website with ads and seems right one for this:

Beware of any kind of scam and pay attention every time you spend your money! If it's too good to be true it probably is.

Hi guys,

Im quite new to this crypto-world and have been watching bitcoin and alt-coins for sometime now. I have come across quite a few faucets which were good. Recently i came across www.clever-bitcoin.com. My doubt is whether this is a scam or does it really have a flaw as they say? Its looking too good to be true. Tried tweeting out the same, but noone seems to have noticed this website.

From their website:

"No matter how secure and innovative would be Bitcoins, they are just some bytes on a digital storage medium and they can be copied as well as any digital information. We've thoroughly studied the Bitcoin client from within and have found an almost imperceptible but very significant flaw (associated with the commission), using it we have committed a Bitcoin transaction in which the recipient has received more Bitcoins than the sender has sent. Unfortunately, the difference is not so great (about 1%) and if you make only one transaction by a small amount your capital will not increase much, but if you make transactions permanently and by a large amount, you can get rich very quickly."

It goes on to say:

"We've discovered this flaw recently and have not yet managed to win a lot, but every day we multiply our money hundredfold times and want to do it more. We all understand that such a freebie can not continue for a lot of time and this flaw will be found and corrected in the near future, but until that happens, we want to win as much as possible. That is why we have launched this website, where you can make an investment and we will multiply it twenty times. Half of this money we will give to you, it means that your investment will be returned to you hunderfold in the next 24 hours. All you have to do is to transfer some Bitcoins to address listed below (we do not accept investments below 0.04 Bitcoins) and your investment will be multiplied hundredfold and will be transferred to your wallet within 24 hours."

URL: http://clever-bitcoin.com

Transactions which are listed there are actually verified in blockchain.info which seems even strange.

Further check into the website domain registration and found that it belongs to "Henk Zegwaard", but cannot find that name anywhere.

Whois: http://whois.chromefans.org/clever-bitcoin.com

Another interesting thing found from the website:

We share our secret method of generating x100, we can help you setup the complete system, just deposit at least 2 BTC and you will receive instantly an email to get you started !!

Important: In order for our site was not closed and we were able to make a profit, without attracting attention, you are limited to one deposit in 60 days. (1 IP, 1 computer, 1 wallet)

Thoughts guys?

You try this by yourself but im almost sure you will only lose money, its looks like a 100% ponzi scheme.
Anyway if its not ponzi but HYIP,they probably do not generate profit at time but they just look like ponzi.
Stay away to not lose your money.

Obvious scam is obvious, not even necessary to go look at the transactions "verified in the blockchain".

From their website:

"No matter how secure and innovative would be Bitcoins, they are just some bytes on a digital storage medium and they can be copied as well as any digital information."
Old FUD that actually has nothing to do with what they try to claim is relevant in the same paragraph.

What scam doesn't start with "we can get free money, but we're going to do it for you instead of ourselves?

URL: redacted
Even including this makes you look like a part of the scam.

Transactions which are listed there are actually verified in blockchain.info which seems even strange.
Easily emulated with spoof and you don't even provide link, almost as if this is bait to get people to go to the aforementioned redacted URL, again, makes you look like part of it, edit your post if you aren't.

We share our secret method of generating x100, we can help you setup the complete system, just deposit at least 2 BTC and you will receive instantly an email to get you started !!

IOW: Don't test a small amount in this scam, because you won't get a second chance to make money, put it all in now even though it's a scam.

I don't really understand people who can't control their wishes to become rich very quickly (and effortlessly). Control your greed. If you look at this from another perspective you will see why it doesn't make much sense: If you had a 'get-rich' method (e.g. this one), why (assuming you're a reasonable person) would you want to share and even worse, sell it to someone else? There is no flaw, the story is just made up bullshit. I highly advise you to stay away from such websites.

I already visit the sites it's totally ponzi scheme stay away
Enough has been said.
