I got a question regarding the avatar contest. Is it fully over now? In the main sinbad thread you wrote it will be extended for one week, but I didn't see any info on it and the original context thread seems closed.

Ironically, Royse did not even penalize you for burst posting. Not on week 37, nor on 39. That memo only serve as an input for you to improve your posting quality and habit for the next round, while he still paid you in full for your eligible posts on those weeks.

I archived all three pages^[1,2,3] of your post history as per when this post is made [forum timestamp 06 Aug 23, 05:10], as well as linking Ninjastis's archive filtered to the said three weeks for our reference. With those in our hand, let's move with your post count per week.

W37 started and ended on 13 to 19 July, 2023, marked by your starting post number #48, forum timestamp July 13, 2023, 11:10:07 PM. Post #50 was not counted as eligible post as you're yet to report and update your sig and ava. I have been participating in many forum  sig campaigns since 2018.
As you said you are new at this, I share how things go in my opinion, my point of view.

Consider that joining a campaign and getting paid to post is a privilege, not a right.

We are all "renting" signature space because that is the basically the only way most company have to advertise in this forum.

There are far too many users like you and me, so why should people renting your or mine signature space? The answer to this question is because we have a good reputation (in my opinion). So, what kind of reputation do you want to have?

I try to be a user who logs often, i try to take a look in most of the board which I have interest and read the discussions. I don't post in every topic I read, far from that. Sometimes I just read many topics and post nothing. Sometimes I spend 20-30 minutes to write one post , or even hours writing one post (making charts, images, reading somewhere else, getting links, etc)

This forum is an amazing place, and there are plenty of opportunities here. Maybe you could consider spend more time here, log in more often. The manager or other users might be thinking you are just logging twice a week after long intervals just to make your post quota and get paid.

Sometimes my posts are rejected as well, but I don't think that is important, as long as my post quality is good and I am doing my best in the posts I write. Sometime it is better to write 3 posts per week than to burst posting 20 posts in 2 days... think about it. You will be better in the long run.

There isn't necessarily a written rule on the subject but if you put yourself in the shoes of the campaign manager, you'll understand that burstposting is not desirable (in some campaigns it's even mentioned in the rules that it's forbidden). I'm not saying that's what you're doing, let's be clear about this, I just want to illustrate that from the point of view of the manager and the project, someone who posts quality is required, but also quantity, and with a regular frequency over the week.

You're paid to give the project a good image thanks to your personality on the forum and your knowledge, as well as for advertising some links through your profile's signature. It's in the interests of those who pay you that you don't post all your messages in a few hours or 2 days, but rather regularly throughout the week. This gives greater visibility to the project you're promoting, and shows a form of personal involvement from the said forum user.


I just see this as an attempt to improve himself.
It's always best to ask the questions that are bothering you, don't you think? There's no such thing as a stupid question when it comes to money.

I think the fact that he doesn't know all the rules of the forum, even the implicit ones, is rather positive, as it proves that he didn't join the forum just to take advantage of the signature campaigns, and that he's not an alt of anyone.

Sorry to say this, but I think this is the last statement I ever expected anybody to come public here to say, because it clearly just show your lack of knowledge how this forum work, by coming here to say a campaign manager must pay you your remaining 8 post for W39. Lolz!! It's kind of funny.. But on a serious note, if you could have a look at the campaign spreadsheets, you will see that there is a column for both "Total post", "Post Denied" and "Eligible Post", which the campaign manager has the right to deny any post he/she feels add no value to the forum discussion.

However, Sinbad campaign is a pay per post-campaign that requires just only 25 per week to be paid in full, which you can either post 5 daily for 5days or 4daily for 6-7days. As it have no compulsory maximum daily post.
