is there an auction going on right niw?

this almost seems too good to be true.

ill bid 3 bte

Yes, there's an auction going on right now!  Thank you for bidding!

Auction ends at 00:00:00 UTC.  You'll have to adjust for your own timezone.  In the U.S., that's going to be Monday afternoon/evening.

can anyone tell me when this is in eastern standard time?

I kind of figure Bitcoin and UTC time go together pretty naturally. Smiley  I'm sorry if I haven't made it clear before what timezone I was using.  I thought before I had spelled that out in my opening post on this thread, but it looks like I didn't, other than the Z, which isn't familiar to everybody.

What does the Z stand for in the time btw? I'm not aware of a time zone that uses such a syntax. how much is that in the GMT-/+ standard?

Z means UTC.  I'm sorry for the confusion.  It's actually an ISO standard.

(heh, I never knew till now, but there's an XKCD about ISO 8601: http://xkcd.com/1179/  .  See also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_8601 is you are as bizarrely interested in it as I am.)

Z = Zulu and is short form for GMT
