As stated in this post, we have no problems using escrow with a reputable escow such as miner Jones
You're talking about truckloads of masks here, I don't think minerjones wants that delivered to his PO box.
Vod's warning is correct though: many criminals are now trying to profit from the lack of medical protection equipment. In the Netherlands,
2 guys have been arrested for this.
If you are a legit supplier, I can't think of any reason why you'd suddenly need to sell your product on Bitcointalk,
the moment the worldwide demand for your product exploded!
On the other hand, if you're not a legit supplier, I can think of many reasons why you suddenly try your luck here.
We are a legit supplier and I understand the frustration of there being mask scammers. I too have lost money through them.
Big deals would be done through a bank using a line of credit which once again means no risk to buyer.
Smaller deals are done using bitcointalk for numerous reasons including supporting the bitcoin economy and the fact that masks can't be sold on eBay or amazon, so this could be one of the better attributes of bitcoin and the free trade associated to it.
If you don't want to buy masks, you don't have too. If you want to buy 100 masks to test this with an escrow, we are more than happy to supply.
