2 QB after 15,852,081 coins?

What do you mean?

Suppose, all of 15,852,081 coins have been minted. After that if I mine blocks, will I still get 2 QB block reward?

No, You will only get the fees. That is exactly the reason why we implemented PULSE (dynamic block creation), to put this moment 4-400 years into the future. Maybe you should prepare your grandchildren for that moment! Cheesy

how to solomine on testnet with sgminer?

Open the testnet wallet, ensure that you're in the testnet by checking the debug window > 'getinfo'
Open your sgminer and point it to http://localhost:21515/ with username & password set to the rpc-user/pass of the config

Should be all set Smiley

(Tested with minerd because I've no GPUs around)

Wouldn't it be easier to put the source online, so that everybody can compile it?
And have some other coin implement the feature before us and steal our precious thunder?

Ok so currently, running 100kh/s it takes 2-5 minutes for a pulse-block to be created.

on a stronger network, this would ofc be much faster.

to encourage more people on helping us out with testing pulse (we're not going to implement pulse in QB-MainNet until the tests are finished) I'm going to give away QBT to people now.

Drop me your testnet address and I'll send you some QBT Smiley

Cheers,

Buy Back Action

Here a quick headsup on how to sell me your testnet coins:

  • You: PM me with your QB address and the amount of TestNet-QB (QBT) you wish to sell
  • Me: Reply with a unique and public TestNet Address and wait for your payment along with a proposed rate
  • You: Reply to me the Transaction-ID or ask for a higher rate
  • Me: Announce trade, link Transaction and make payment to your QB address
  • Huh
  • PROFIT!!!

In case you use the mining pool, please TX the funds to your private wallet before.

Pulse depends on TX Amounts, Values and Fees - Play with these values!
Dont be afraid of setting high fees or sending QBT to your mates Smiley

Only thing I would suggest is that you might want to lower the number of confirmations. You currently have it set at 70 confirmations and that will take 700 mins or 11 hrs 40 mins for a mined block to mature...that's a long time! Maybe lower it to 6 blocks ( 1hr )Huh
Confirms are still high, that's true - on the actual implementation it will be lowered. However on the testnet we have to mine a certain amount of funds before we can actually benefit from the dynamic of Pulse. So once we all hold a certain amount of coins and start transactions, block-creation will speed up Smiley

I mined 2 blocks where the address started with a 'p' like in this one pv4o7t7Zd2QZBh1z2xdSh1tmXTcX6r8rHh Is that normal??
Yes TestNet addresses start with Lower-case Q or P. that's normal Smiley

New minimal: 16,313 days (44,7 years)
New maximum: 1553 days (4,25 years)
Simply amazing. Surely any coin would be crazy to not implement this feature or at least something like it.
Datacoin or even Storj could benefit since they store data? Or am I wrong? Undecided
