The more I think about it the more I like the idea of a universal basic income.
I remember reading about the abolition of the benefit system in favour of a universal basic income for everybody and how 'manual mining' (poverty stricken third world citizens solving captures all day) could earn enough money to eat regardless of skill set and location, they would just need an internet connection.
As long as we can avoid abuses like generating thousands of wallets under one client and harvesting the interest then this could be a real step forward for our beloved coin Smiley

We've got to think this through, but I hope we can find a way to make POWS work as well. Smiley

Yes, the amount of coins doesn't matter with the wallet synch anyway and only encourages holding the money. POWS only looks at the amount of time you synch the wallet and rewards even the people with an empty wallet. Smiley

Great stuff.
Implementing API from one of the exchanges in the wallet will be one feature I personally want to see and use. How much easier will be to trade directly in the wallet.

Possibly, let's add it to the list Smiley

Sounds interesting, indeed Smiley

POS might be a good solution, but not with the stake based on amount of coins,  but based on a fixed amount of coins for keeping wallet synched. This way people get rewarded a certain amount of coins regardless of their wallet balance.
We call it Proof of Wallet Stake (POWS)
So it would be a sort of 'statutory income' for everyone with a wallet containing a minimum coin balance if I understand that correctly?
Sounds like a great idea if so Smiley

Coin of the people Smiley
sounds good. Rewards are always better than punishments Smiley
