Why need to use any faucet if you can find some Bitcoin treasure with AI Seed Phrase Finder & BTC balance checker tool for Windows PC?

Its very easy way to unlock lost and abandoned Bitcoin wallets

I have some updates  Smiley

I should first note that I no longer control the old domain as it expired, please use beyondfaucet.com.

I had to temporarily close the Litecoin and Dogecoin testnet faucets due to backend issues (not syncing and lack of miners).
I also closed the Sepolia faucet due to it being unsustainable due to bots/mass claiming and the same people offering to sell back the tETH they claimed. Thankfully, the launch of the Ethereum Holesky testnet is nearing and I applied to get some testnet coins at launch so hopefully that'll go through so I can run a faucet for it without worrying about finding testnet coins.

As always, if you have any questions or comments, feel free to ask me here or via the contact options on the site!

The Testnet Faucet has been rebranded to BeyondFaucet!

https://beyondfaucet.com

This change did not come lightly and took me a few weeks of on and off thinking before I made the decision to change the domain to beyondfaucet.com and rebrand to BeyondFaucet. I made this change because I feel that "beyond" encompasses more than just a regular faucet and will allow me to add mainnet coins (smaller ones) in the future as it's no longer bound to just the testnet. With this name change, nothing is really different, and the testnet faucets will still be here. I also made this change as many people complained that I don't control the domain testnet-faucet.com (without the dash in the middle) which confused a great number of people.

Please let me know your thoughts and if you have any questions about the faucet!

Update: Links from the testnet-faucet.com domain are now redirected to the new domain (beyondfaucet.com).

I also want to mention that I now run ads on the faucets and blog via Google AdSense. I know how much people (including myself) dislike ads, but I wanted a way to help cover hosting expenses and the ads help a little with offsetting them. I've made sure to make the ads non-intrusive, organized, and limited to no more than 3 per page. I hope you will all understand that and I will reconsider the advertisements if something else happens in regard to covering hosting expenses in the future (full nodes aren't cheap to host).

I have added Goerli ETH to the Testnet Faucet! I know the Goerli testnet will be depreciated later this year, but until then, I've added it onto the faucet to help developers that are still using the Goerli network.

After a lot of work redeveloping the backend of the faucet (and a lot of coffee), I'm finally pleased to announce that Sepolia tETH has been added to the Testnet Faucet!

If anyone has some extra Sepolia ETH that they could send to the faucet, that would be very appreciated!

I am no developer in the field but I do know the scarcity of these tBTC and there are even threads where people are charging interest for using the tBTC for some period. You have done great job by launching this thread and hope so everything will work as planned for your faucet.

I am just having one question, how do you believe that everyone who is getting free claims on your site will return the tBTC to you in the future? OR you just kept it as open minded thought and care less if the coins are returned to you or not?

Q. What is the funding source for this faucet?
Q. If someone wants to help then how one can do it? Just donate it or is there any other ways to?

I appreciate the positive feedback! Testnet coins, specifically Bitcoin testnet coins are quite scarce which is why I made this faucet as a few years ago as I found it extremely hard to get testnet coins for testing applications. I'm against people charging others for testnet coins as they are supposed to have no value other than being useful for testing applications without risking real funds.

In regard to people returning coins, I know a lot of people don't return the testnet coins after claiming them which is okay as I expect it, but it is always nice to see when someone does return the coins when they are done as it helps keep the faucet filled and keeps the testnet ecosystem alive.

To answer your other questions:
1. The funding source for my faucet was from some leftover tBTC I had as well as tBTC that was donated. For the other coins except tBCH and tGRS, I mined them on a private pool I created before I launched the faucet. If you're wondering about how I fund the faucet to keep it online, I pay around $50/month out of pocket to run the servers powering the faucet and nodes.
2. If someone would like to donate, they can here: https://testnet-faucet.com/donate I also have 1 advertisement on each faucet page to help offset server costs, but I'm considering removing it as it doesn't generate nearly enough to help offset the monthly server costs.

I only use your faucet once or twice long time ago, but it's nice to see your faucet website remain alive and receive update. Few thoughts,
1. The new design indeed looks nice, since your previous design looks like early/late 2000 website.
2. I've read your first blog post. While it's useful, you might want to add Sparrow Wallet[1] which frequently discussed in past few months since it has so many features and being open source.
3. I don't see Bitcoin Signet[2] mentioned anywhere.

[1] https://www.sparrowwallet.com/
[2] https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Signet

Thank you for your kind remarks!
1. I agree, the old site did look like an old web 1.0 site.
2. Sparrow wallet is neat and I've added it to the blog post covering wallets: https://testnet-faucet.com/blog/testnet-wallets
3. I totally spaced Signet. I will look into the possibility of creating a faucet for the Bitcoin Signet. Until then, I'll write a blog post covering the different Bitcoin networks.

Update: I've published a new blog post covering the many different networks for a few cryptos: https://testnet-faucet.com/blog/the-many-networks

Hello everyone, I know it's been a while, but I'm excited to share some recent updates to the website!

I've redesigned the entire site and started writing a blog for it. I'm planning on writing posts covering tools that developers might find useful to tips and tricks such as being able to create a raw transaction and a short introduction into the the Bitcoin Script language used in transactions and the different operators.

Check out the redesign: https://testnet-faucet.com
The new blog: https://testnet-faucet.com/blog/

Thank you for your support over the years and please let me know what you think about the redesign and if there's anything I should add or change!

I have started a few new testnet faucets (looking for funding in both testnet and mainnet coins)!

(Updated) Here's a list of all the faucets I've added to testnet-faucet.com:
tBTC: https://testnet-faucet.com/btc-testnet
Sepolia: https://testnet-faucet.com/sepolia
Goerli: https://testnet-faucet.com/goerli

Enjoy!

I've updated the homepage of the site with links to some recommended testnet wallets as the faucet only supports legacy addresses at this time. Along with that, I'm working on a section for testnet information (e.g. useful services for developers) and I'm looking for some links/tools that I may add to the section, feel free to post some links to things you find helpful and I'll add them to the new section when I make it.

Hello everyone!

I have added tGRS to the faucet with support for all the testnet address types!

Please feel free to donate some tGRS if you have any to spare as it'll help get the faucet started!

tGRS faucet: https://testnet-faucet.com/grs-testnet

I'm also looking into adding tBCH or tDGB to the faucet, please let me know which one you would like to see added next!

What happend to the tgrs that I donated 2 years ago?

Sorry for the late reply, had some health issues and was away for a bit. I still have the private key for them and will reconsider setting up the tGRS faucet soon (took it down for now due to hosting costs and lack of usage).

Edit: I've removed tGRS due to no usage for over 75 days. I will always be open to reinstating the faucet if demand for tGRS increases. Until then, you can find another tGRS faucet at https://coinfaucet.eu/grs-testnet. I'm sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused.

Hi, could you please add tBCH back to the faucet. Thank you
Apologies for the extremely late reply, I have been busy with school lately, but yes, I will look into re-adding tBCH back onto the testnet faucet! Though, I will need some tBCH coins to start the faucet, if anyone has any tBCH that they are willing to donate, please feel free to let me know here or on the chat box on the website!

After over 75,000 faucet payouts, I just wanted to say that I am glad and happy that my faucet has helped so many people and with that, I'll be increasing the amount given per claim (for tLTC and tDOGE - tBTC is hard to come by)! With that, if you have some Testnet Bitcoin that you don't need anymore, please feel free to send em to the address on the faucet if you want! Thank you!

Hello everyone,

I know that it's been a while, but I have some updates that should be of help to others.

To begin, I have upgraded the servers and increased the minimum payouts for tBTC and tDOGE (decreased payouts for tLTC as they were way too high). I also registered some nice domains for each faucet which you will find when you click on a faucet from the main page (https://testnet-faucet.com). Lastly, with support, I am also starting a Dashcoin and ZCash faucet for developers for testing in the coming days.

Enjoy,
Tech1k

I hope you are still working on that project.
To motivate you, I'll refill your tbtcs a bit  Wink

Thank you! I am still working on the faucet and I plan on adding some other coins too - been very busy lately!

I wanted to try out your faucet... Just to see how it works.
Couldn't claim for a bech32 address:

You entered an invalid Testnet Bitcoin address!
Oh, whoops my bad lol, the faucet is using Bitcoin v0.15.2 which didn't have bech32 addresses! I'll upgrade the daemon to 0.20.0 today, sorry about that!

Hello Tech1k, I send you ~1.4 tbtc, it allowed me for lighting-network experiments some time ago

Testnet Bitcoin is now active on the faucet!

From what I see the faucet is already dry. This means that you either were too generous, either somebody has already abused your faucet.
Quite sad...

It is quite sad because this coin don't have any value , it is just testnet coin , people are just crazy today!

So true, it seems like people are crazy over these testnet coins just to have them for no reason whatsoever lol
