- On Monday I will list here every Twitter account that re-tweeted something posted by @BitsPerDollar after OP. If an account re-tweeted several tweets then they will be listed more than once. The number of items in this list will be X. For example if there are 20 unique accounts but with repeated items the count goes to 35 then X would be 35.
- I will choose a block number which I estimate will appear about one hour after I post the list.
- I will take the last 3 characters of the block, for example if it was block ...a1b8de685e1ae06e I'd take 06e.
- I will convert that hex number to decimal. For example 0x06e is 110d.
- Then I'll calculate 110 modulus 35, which equals 5. This would mean the winner is the user at position 5, starting in zero.
- The process will be repeated with the next 9 blocks after each of them have at least 3 confirmations.
A winner will be discarded and the next block will be processed instead if one of the following conditions happen:
- The winner does not comply with the conditions to enter (50+ followers, following @BitsPerDollar).
- The winner already won, each account can win only one single prize.
If you have any doubts or think this isn't fair for any reason please respond here by Sunday.
