sec_error_ocsp_unknown_cert

That's a generic cloudflare-based error, probably already fixed by the time I woke up.

well havent been over 16 since 10673

Which wasn't even 12 hours ago ;p

LOL!  Cheesy

It's good to get back to the banter rather than the DDoS carnage.

Thanks for all your help with that Eleuthria, fantastic work, hope you're enjoying some well-deserved sleep now  Wink

Agreed, great work!  I even found a block in the midst of the attack.  And it looks like most miners are back on board now.

yea but 74-83 are only in the teens if that. what happened to the 20+ blocks a shift?

Difficulty went up.  It only takes 16 to be above neutral at this difficulty+value of N.

man ever since the ddos the pools luck sucks and i have notice a bit difference in my bitcoin ballance. I was getting about 0.1BTC a day. I know not much but still. i havent enven gotten that since 2013-09-30 03:07:19 AM. Sad  Cry

Luck hasn't been that bad.  We had 25 consecutive shifts at 100% or higher earlier (#10648 - 10672).  Only the last 11 shifts have been under expectation, hardly "luck sucks".

If you're still having issues getting connected, please let me know by PM or email.  Every testing machine I have has been working quite well for about 12 hours.  The only hiccups should've been when some old proxies were closed and the new EU servers brought up.

Oh stop you guys, running a pool isn't illegal, mining isn't illegal, and most certainly bitcoin isn't illegal. I forgot about the shutdown. hmmm is it a good time to be a criminal?

Even if they did nothing, it couldn't hurt. Who knows, it might be a key piece to a puzzle that they are already working on. Enough Foil Hat stuff. Undecided

Double your Personal Bitcoin Funds.
That's more like asking them to come check you out as well. FBI is out of business but will gladly use an escape goat to secure some jobs, might as well be a bitcoin pool.

Isn't the fbi shut down? And besides they probably won't do anything and defently due to the fact this is bitcoin we are talking about. But who knows.

have you been in contact with the FBI about this attack? I'm thinking that it couldn't hurt. You are a US business, your business is being intentionaly disrupted by outside forces. They should be made aware of the situation if nothing else.

Just to clarify a common question:  If you have been given the semi-private DNS information, you do not need to switch back at any time.  The semi-private servers will *not* go down once the attacks are completely over. Staying on the semi-private DNS may end up keeping you online next time an attack hits.  It's not a guarantee, but it has worked quiet well for most users so far.

Turning money into heat since 2011.
Are the DDoS connections establishing, or is this just a script kiddie syn-flood?  (sounds like you have too much traffic for syn-cookies)  If they are establishing and sending useless requests- can you estimate number of hosts participating?

Depending on the bot being used, redirecting known-bad connections to a tarpit can help. I've pointed bots to tarpits, and some go quiet after all of their threads are told to "shut up and wait". Grin
