This is how its setup.
Don't be hating on my MSPaint skills.  Cool

I got my 3 erupters in the mail early. Any they are BLUE!

*Jumps up and down* I feel like a kid in a candy store.  Thank you eleuthria.  Cool

Side note: I have tried playing with ubuntu server and folllowed the instructions and it cannot see any of my erupters on the computer. I have tried that with 5 dlink hubs pluged into 1 dlink hub then plgued into the computer and no luck. 50 of thies little things are becoming more of a hassle. How do ya do it?  Huh

I'm running 51 on ubuntu linux. no rhyme or reason to my hubs, i just keep trying things untill they all work. I woke up this morning to half of them with green lights. It took rebooting the computer to get them all to come back.

1: Open Terminal or SSH into your Linux machine.

2: Run "apt-get update"

3: Run "apt-get install git autoconf automake libtool pkg-config libcurl4-gnutls-dev libjansson-dev uthash-dev libncurses5-dev"

4: Run "git clone git://github.com/luke-jr/bfgminer.git"

5: Enter the bfgminer directory

6: Run "./autogen.sh"

7: Run "./configure" (if you do not want to use GPUs on the machine, add --disable-opencl)

8: Run "make"

9: After make completes, you can run bfgminer directly (may require sudo), or create a shell script that includes your arguments.

The only thing that i see i maybe missing is libudev-dev

Whats the difference in libidev-dev and libudev-dev?

50 x .335 = only 16.75 GH/s

Yeah not much hashing power there ... for all the effort to set them up ...

Anker 10 ports are 3 hubs chained internally.

Also note some PCs can have a hub internally too, especially cheaper/older laptops.

Soo did you send me 3 more silver ones?  Cheesy If you dont know then i guess i have to wait till monday.

Side note. My computer is having issues with 50 erupters i got 2 anker hubs and 7 dlink-dub-h7 hubs. that are all pluged into an anker hub.  i cant figure out if its a hub bad or if its too many erupters. it ran fine with 38 but when i pluged in the other 3 dlink hubs it started not working. any ideas?

I find USB to be very touchy when you start getting to the 50+ device range, especially when chaining hubs.  While it can be done, it gets very touch & go.  I personally preferred to use 4-port unpowered USB 2 hubs connected to the PC, then chained my hubs with erupters off of those.

As for colors:  Most of the recent shipments have been silver.  Blue has been sent upon request when possible.  There's ~200 left to ship as Silver, at which point it will resume being red.  I haven't opened them up to see if these are the older dark red, the lighter red, or the red with the circular rings.

I gave up and ordered a Blue one on eBay. Tongue

Win7 says that you can't go more than 5 deep on chaining USB Hubs.
And be aware that most of the larger hubs are already chained inside ...

My Anker (and clones) hubs are starting to suffer from power supply failures now.  I would check that out first by swapping known working power supplies into failing hubs to see if that works.  I've ordered some replacement power brinks from Amazon that have a little more juice to see if that does the trick.

Just cut the leads off the failing bricks, solder on a molex connector, and run them off a PC PSU.  You're wasting your time and money replacing bricks, they just aren't designed for 24/7 running at high load.

I run all mine off the same PSU that powers my Blades.  Far more efficient too, I'm saving 20W by running my hubs off the ATX supply rather than the Anker hub supplies.  Plus I don't have to worry about a meltdown.

I've lost track and am confused, did he say he has silver and blue erupters on hand or coming in? I don't want to order before he has them and end up with black or red ones. Huh

All inventory is blue/silver right now.  No red/black could possibly sneak in.

*running off to the store*

5 ordered, that should at least get me some blue ones. Grin

*Comes back and there all silver*  Cheesy Oops. Angry Shocked

WaaaaAAAAHHH!!!!!  Cry Not FAIR, and Not FUNNY! *sniff* *sniff*  Cry

All Silver.... Sad
