As expected "Eric" or whatever his real name is decided to not to address any concerns:

I see this is turning into a wild witch hunt.
Please keep your tone decent and try to maintain insults to a minimum. We do not owe anyone any kind of explanation, as far as I know and information about myself and the management team will be made available in the future if we consider this would be beneficial to our service. We offer a clear service and for the moment this is more than enough.

Please stop wasting your breath and find another place to blow off steam.

Typical response for a ponzi.

Carra, this gentleman already presented fake info using photo of some Arabic news reporter (without his consent), is in breach of Data Protection Act, is pretty obvious that this project is a classic ponzi/scam.

Imo you should terminate this campaign, otherwise you (and participants) are likely to be soliciting a criminal activity. Your call

So at the end what is this site ? Is it only another "scam"  or is it legit ?  Can we have a clear  answer , thanks for the attention .

It seems to be some sort of cloudmining service? Tongue

...

Well, you can stop this immediately by addressing the issues and providing proofs.

Please keep your tone decent and try to maintain insults to a minimum.

Don't see much insults here, just reasonable concerns.

... and information about myself and the management team will be made available in the future if we consider this would be beneficial to our service.

What the fuck does this even mean? You've already posted your name and photo on the website (along with details of your 'team' - if there is any). So you admit the info was 100% bullshit?

I'll report your company to Companies House for starters and see how it works.

From a game theory perspective I can only imagine that the winning strategy would be to take the 10-20% hit for three 10 day periods, rather than risk the prospect of being nailed for the full month

I had tried to balance it. The original participants who asked for the 10 day payouts risk getting not re-enrolled for the remaining two or one term. They also have shorter windows to make enough quality posts.

Btw, that scheme has a bonus at the end which means they may not have to suffer any hit.

This seems very generous. But why the "and leave" provision?

The offer is for anyone who is not comfortable carrying the signature and/or does not think that I will pay at the end of the month. I am giving them an exit option.

In order to build up your trust as a member it might be a good idea to offer anyone involved the ten day option. If someone has trusted you once it makes a lot of sense for them to trust you again at that point, not to exit.

I took the decision in light of pawel7777's concerns. If things change again, then I may have to make a new announcement. I will as far as possible try to make them in favour of participants.

I would like to add that the offer is not that generous. Following the 10 day payout structure means 10-20% lower than the normal payout.

I'm actually fine giving you the benefit of the doubt.

Giving anyone the benefit of the doubt on this forum is a surefire way to get scammed.
Not that there is much doubt about this being a scam. I am curious though, do you give nigerian princesses that claim to have inherited oil concessions and email you out of the blue with a promise of $5M  the benefit of the doubt too?

Your analogy is a little misleading, but your point is taken. This is why escrow is so important. Bitcoin and everything around it is and ought to be built around the idea that the need for trust is minimized as much as possible

OK, since I'm 99% sure Cryptomine.io is not a legit business and I don't feel comfortable wearing their sig, I decided to switch to other campaign.

If by any chance Carra decides to finish it sooner, and pay the participants for the posts they made so far, here's my final count + proof of sig:

Post coint (excl this one): 820

I would have asked you to keep the signature for a few more hours to see how it unfolds, but never mind that now.

Sure, I will see what to do if that happens.

This is what I had written on a parallel thread. Carra has asked me to post it here so he can respond.

"The fact that only a few of us were allowed the 10-day payout seems like a classic ploy. Pay a few to keep everyone else quiet for the rest of the month. Question: is there really ever any legitimate reason to not use escrow?"

The 10 day offer was open to anyone who applied in time. In your case it was denied as you joined late.

Since you wanted and did not get the 10 day payout, I am willing to pay you up to the current time and let you leave. I would rather you remained, I waited to allow you to sign up in the first place instead of filling up the spot, but its your choice.

I joined this campaign as a leap of faith and I'm actually fine giving you the benefit of the doubt. I just chimed in on a conversation that seemed compelling and relevant: I think many of us here are very careful for good reason; FWIW I'm personally convinced escrow is one of the most valuable services this forum provides to the community.

If you still want to change your mind later on, you can do so by 10th of Dec. The first payout goes out on 11th and I can pay you at the same time.

I will actually make it general. Anyone can take the pay for the first 10 days (as outlined in the 10 day payout scheme) and leave.

I've asked a few times the same question , and I also wanted to offer my free escrow service but he didn't want.  I don't know why , but at the end we will see what will happen.  Good luck Wink.
