Good morning all!

After much deliberation, soul searching, and heated arguments over who used the last of the coffee, our content team have finally picked their top three favourites!  Cheesy

Jokes aside this one really was tough to choose. We got a huge amount of really well thought out suggestions from both Bitcointalk and Twitter, and we want to reassure you that we’re not discarding the ones that didn’t make it to the top three. We promise we’ll get to work and try and answer all the other questions in the future. Our pick of winners are just the first ones.

The competition may be over, but our work goes on. And we want you along for the ride.

Now, without further ado, the winners!

The winners (0.07 BTC each!):

Wendigo - "Crypto sports sponsorship - the biggest deals"

@CryptoStatioN - "How are stablecoins stable? Why some of them sometimes lose their value if they are supposed to be stable? Why not just use bitcoin?"

@Fergielici0us - "What are atomic swaps? Can blockchain talk to each other?"

I'll be cracking the whip in the writers room and soon we should be publishing one of these articles weekly  Wink

As mentioned above this one was very nearly too close to call, so we also have a few runners up that just missed out on making the cut. I'll be contacting them soon to offer a choice of bonus on either our sportsbook or casino:

@mgulla7 - "If I die, how can my daughters inherit my cryptos?"

@danchamz - "What creates value for Cryptocurrencies? What factors are responsible for the variation in the prices of different crytpos."

chelsea93 - "Sound money and it's primary aspects. What is money and it's features. Like liquidity, Inflationary/Deflationary, Demand/Supply, ease of use etc."

There were also a couple of strong specific suggestions from very knowledgeable people, and we plan to reach out to those community members privately in the near future to discuss having them write on the subjects for us as paid guest writers, given their own insight into the subject matter:

mcplums2 - "Is bitcoin's simplicity, its lack of features and its resistance to change, a good thing? Are these features or bugs?"

iphro - "How small states can integrate their M2 economies through blockchain to escape the effects touted by World systems/Dependency theory."

CryptoSmith1 - "How is blockchain becoming cleaner and greener, with regard to the energy consumption of cryptomining, data centers, servers, etc.?"

A huge thanks to everyone that took part and submitted suggestions for the blog, and for your belief in crypto as part of a better future. You should all be proud. All of this - and us here at Cloudbet - wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you.

We have already started planning next month's competition, so keep an eye on our Cloudbet thread for details soon!

Have a great day!

Afternoon all!

I've got confirmation that all the prizes have been sent out, enjoy your winnings!  Grin

In other news - The first blog post article from our winners has already been written!

Check out our in-depth look into Stablecoins, as requested by @CryptoStatioN on Twitter.

What do you think? Are stablecoins going to feature as a large part of crypto's future, or are they just another fad and not a 'true' cryptocurrency?

Stay tuned for new articles from the competition soon!

This is my all-time favorite simply because it has helped me that much by now. A typical crypto user uses at least 20 crypto-related words per day. That show how much it affects a crypto enthusiast especially beginners.
My suggestions

# What are the things that bitcoin bring to world irrespective of its dollar value. What is a purely decentralised economy?.
#what immutability in bitcoin mean? Specifically why/how the code limits people for changing the "immutable content".
# A category wise index of articles in the blog will be great. Im not saying about "on the cloud" , "bitcoin 101" etc. Like " how-to's " and " what is " type of categories where a visitor can see all article index in a views. Likewise they can navigate from article to artilce from it with much ease than right now. I know this is not an article suggestion. But I thought this will be useful. My question What are betting dapps and its problems?

I have ideas.. I would love to see these as I'm uncertain about the same. Cheesy
1. What is Tokenisation.? How disruptive is it? With examples like tokens for real gold, assets, items, virtually anything and how it transforms the access of the same through a global market.
    2. Sound money and it's primary aspects. What is money and it's features. Like liquidity, Inflationary/Deflationary, Demand/Supply, ease of use etc. I think this is a perspective which is really needed. And kinda how to use it for all people on earth.   3. What are dapps and non-custodial platforms?. How many Cryptocurrencies are developing betting/dex with non custodial features?. How custodial and non custodial system works with advtge/disadvntges. I think it's a tradeoff between security and ease of use with respective trusts involving.

https://www.cloudbet.com/en/blog/bitcoin-101/9520-what-is-a-bitcoin-fork
This article gave me a idea on what forks are especially as it was just when I entered this space. It really made me understand what bcash, bcd, bitcoin gold etc is. Such confusing and I guess it's bad for the space too.. I like how cloudbet is going. Its awesome you guys make articles on all topics in the space even if you're a betting and casino company.. nice...

Today the Cloudbet Blog turns one year old, and to celebrate our first blogiversary, we are running a competition to see which articles have captured your interest this year, and what you’d like to see us writing more about in the year ahead!

That’s right crypto fans, Cloudbet is back with another free-to-enter competition for our Bitcointalk and Twitter followers, and this one comes with a whopping 0.21 BTC (€1000) prize pool to split between 3 lucky winners!

Entering the competition is easy as losing money on shitcoins!  Wink

Simply post below with:

- Your favourite crypto-focused Cloudbet blog article from the past year?
- The crypto article you would like to see our expert team write next!

This could be anything you’d like to know more about; from the details of specific cryptocurrency networks, to guides on altcoin trading - nothing is off the cards!

If you prefer to enter via Twitter, that’s fine too! Simply tweet your entry @Cloudbet including the #CBBlogBday tag which will be used for tracking entries.

Entries close on Monday 13th May, and we’ll pick our 3 favourite entries as winners to announce the following day on Tuesday 14th May.

The three winners will each receive 0.07 BTC, and will have their article idea written up and published over the next few weeks by our team of experts at the Cloudbet blog - how’s that for content on demand?!  Cheesy

General Rules:

- Maximum 3 entries per account.
- Entries should answer both questions.
- All accounts must be over 7 days old to participate (sorry newbies!)
- Keep it clean!  Wink

We listened to all the community feedback after our last competition, so this time entries will be restricted to Bitcointalk and Twitter accounts that are at least 7 days old. If you spot any accounts or entries that you are concerned about then please send us a DM with the information (rather than derailing the thread with accusations).

To see the full terms and conditions, visit the Cloudbet blog here

The public spreadsheet containing all entries can be found here

Good luck!  Grin

Join the world-leading crypto sportsbook NOW!
Hi Ronnie,

I wanted to put my entry at the beginning of the competition but didn't find the time until now. City just lifted Premier League title and I managed to get 10 minutes on the laptop while watching the ceremony. This is my first and only entry but it will include 2 ideas for articles so maybe it should be considered as two entries. Anyway, I hope I am not breaking some rules and if you want feel free to separate it into two entries.

1. Your favourite crypto-focused Cloudbet blog article from the past year?
My favorite cloudbet blog read was Three lost bitcoin treasures (plus one happy ending) which also seams to be a crowd favorite by votes. I loved your contest to write fiat money review. That one really cracked me up and had multiple outstanding entries. Six Common Betting Mistakes was also a great entry but it came about 10 years too late for me. I managed to make all of them (and then some) in some point of my betting life. Fortunately I also learned something from all that mistakes  Tongue

2. The crypto article you would like to see our expert team write next!
If it has to be crypto related article I would like to see Cloudbet take on IEO (initial exchange offering). I believe they are in general very bad for crypto market and are only useful too put more power in hands of crypto exchanges. They don't have any advantage over ICO for anyone but the exchanges. This kind of centralization is very bad and I hope they die a quick and painful death so STO can come to fruition. Although, I may be missing something....I challenge you to prove me wrong or confirm my fears.

I would like to see Cloudbet write more articles about tennis. Since all major football leagues are ending soon and tennis season is in full swing this could be a right time to switch focus. We have an incoming Roland Garraos which looks like it could be the tournament to remember. We have all the usual suspects (Nadal, Djokovic), Federer (after 2 year pause) and some young lions (Thiem, Tsitipas) which are all legitimate candidates to be crowned champions. Nadal still probably has the edge since it is best of 3 sets but it hasn't be this close since he started his clay domination. This blog entry could also focus on tennis offer in crypto betting site and maybe used as a way to bring new customers to Cloudbet. I love betting on tennis handicaps (match and first set), under/over and tiebreak in the match lines but I didn't find a single crypto site offering all of that.

BR, Trofo

PS. Love Cloudbet competitions and I believe you are doing one hell of job promoting Cloudbet here on the forum. Keep it up and give us more funny competitions.

Happy anniversary Cloudbet Blog.

1. Your favourite crypto-focused Cloudbet blog article from the past year?
Three lost bitcoin treasures (plus one happy ending)
This article reminds me of how easy it is to lose my bitcoin. Made me think about how can I make a safe transfer of my bitcoin to my loved ones if I suddenly pass away. I hate it if my hard earn bitcoins will go to waste just because I forgot where I placed the private keys or made a will.

2. The crypto article you would like to see our expert team write next!
I really like basketball and sports betting, so I would like to see more articles about sports betting. A good topic could be about maximizing winnings through parlay betting in sports betting.

Unlike other participants this my very 1st time to participate in Cloudbets Promotion. Hoping that I will win this competition even I'm new in this kind of competition. But of course, I know that there was much promotion that Cloudbet did here in bitcointalk. Anyway here's my entry.

- Your favourite crypto-focused Cloudbet blog article from the past year?
Since I'm from the Philippines, this blog titled "How to bet with bitcoin and bitcoin cash in the Philippines" was one of my favorite blog article from the past year because this blog really helps a lot for those who want to get involved in crypto-gambling using bitcoins here in the Philippines.

- The crypto article you would like to see our expert team write next!

Since I'm more than 2 years using and betting on Cloudbet, I would like to see that they will write a new blog article about adding a new crypto-currency like Ethereum, XRP, LTC, and XLM in betting at Cloudbet because sometimes BTC and BCH blockchain having a hard time to confirm some of their transaction. This always happens when you're in a rush and excited to bet in Cloudbet. Grin Also when it comes in transaction fees bitcoin transaction is really expensive, unlike the other mentioned crypto-currency aside from fewer fees the transaction can easily be confirmed. Add additional information XRP and ETH are also easy to buy in the Philippines cause it is already listed in Coins.ph which is the major source of Pilipinos to buy cryptocurrency. Coins.ph was mentioned by Cloudbet in my favorite Cloudbet blog article; https://www.cloudbet.com/en/blog/bitcoin-101/10925-how-to-bet-with-bitcoin-and-bitcoin-cash-in-the-philippines .

To make it easy, I want to see Cloudbet using other alternative cryptocurrency to bet on their platform.
