Someone in another thread suggested a lender acting as the escrow. It would be ideal in this case.  Of course, it would need to be a lender of some reputation.

maybe he's leeching power from parents, that would be an interesting economic advantage for mining.

yes when i mention escrow, btCrow is the only one i have in mind. good reputable.

of course many other individuals are willing to do escrow for 0% fee (like me)

also ask if he accepts escrow.

+1

Then of course, is the escrow safe?

Consider
 - http://BTCrow.net

Charges just 1% and provides dispute arbitration.

They have had only good reviews (though, oddly, none recently)

I do understand the lack of trust in the person selling the material.
No matter the outcome of the deal, i will pay the bitcoins lended.
Its just a matter of paying them faster with the new rig, or slower with the rigs i have.

We're just a suspicious bunch.  Sometimes we're looking for the next interesting scam, sometimes a reason to do or not do something.  The arrangements here require a heightened degree of caution because of the issues observed over time around fake deals, and deals that go bad.  You also need to remember that typically a 90% payback rate is break-even and that the lending section is still fairly new.

And powercoiner's email is [email protected]. I doubt he uses the name powercoiner everywhere, which means he made the email specifically for this site.

Noted, watching.  Extended a couple of new loans yesterday so waiting for some funds to come back in before doing another one (a few days).  The point already made above suggest caution on all sides.

You do realize that Powercoiner is barely out of Newbie status and makes a beeline to the Marketplace with 5850s.  So you're going to drop  nearly $700 on his cards?  Brilliant.

And anybody who lends you the coins... even brilliantar!11!1oneone1

Hello,

I have closed a deal with powercoiner: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/wts-sapphire-radeon-hd-5850-xtreme-64012
I bought his rig + 5 HD5850 for 180 BTCs.

I only have 17 BTC, but am expecting a good amount from Clipse's pool today or tomorrow.
I make something like 11 BTC per day.

I am here asking for a loan of 150 BTC, to be paid 160 in 15 days.

Reputation i don't have much, only bought a card to nelisky, but i have been seen hashing at 16GH at the now defunct A1pool.
ATM am hashing at Clipse's pool.

Anyone interested?
