Hello. Was there a private key with the coin? I only have the two Holo brands and a guide with an example. But no private key. On the envelope, it says, that the content has a value of 5 Monero.

No the coins were sent without monero loaded on it. You can use the instructions to make a new private key to load the coins yourself and insert it on the giveaway coin.

As of Sunday April 30th, 2017 at 1215PM Hawaiian Standard Time this giveaway is now officially closed. Any email requests that were made after this time/post will not be honored nor sent.
Any remaining brass coins out of the 1000 will be given away at the upcoming Consensus 2017 conference in person. If you are interested in meeting up with me just email me at [email protected] and I can organize a meet up within the confines of the conference.

You will not get notification from OP that there is a coin on the way to your mailbox. That's what happened to me. I have no idea that there is a coin and I received a letter from our local customs telling me that there's a parcel waiting for me to be claimed in our city postal office. The coin is free but the fees that will be collected by the customs if there's any is not.

No smoothie doesn't reply to emails on this - you will either get it or not depending on shipping etc - he hasn't announced it as closed so keep up the hope. Cheers

Thank you smoothie for the coin, I was surprised to see it in my mail box. It was held first by customs but they released it after paying some fees and when I opened the envelope, I never thought I would receive such a nice looking coin with a personalized markings. This really made my day!

I have no control over if the coin gets to the person requesting it given they are shipped USPS first class mail.
