Hmm... I've been doing some calculations using the calculator at http://www.bitcoinx.com/profit/. Am I correct that each investor gets about 0.062875 Bitcoins per day per bitcoin invested?(assuming current difficulty and without any reductions due to power cost).

I am a student and do not have much money to use on such a project. I might be able to use one or maybe two bitcoins.

that is correct at current difficulty etc.

Difficulty will be probably x3 when you get the unit. And after that, it will reach x10 very fast (lower "Profitability decline per year" in www.bitcoinx.com/profit/)

Investing is cool, but think about what you're doing.

looks like coinhoarder is still doing his pool.  sending my bitcoin to him.  i recommend you do the same.  have already contacted those that invested with me to do the same.  any BTC sent to me will be returned.

if you look at it strictly for the BTC mined per day, for 1 BTC (aka $75) you get .06 BTC/day.  you cant buy a video card that would give you that kind of return.  You'd have to have close to 900MH/s to get that kind of return.  that kind of video card costs 5+ times as much.  so the value is really there.  that doesnt even take into account the lower power usage.

here's the promised link to the pics.  i took a picture of my screen while on this post so you could see that i wasnt just getting pictures from the internet.

Um, that only proves the first image. Write your username and today's date on a piece of paper and place it in view in each shot, that would be proper proof that the images are yours.

easy enough.  will do that when i get back from lunch.

Just checked the site and they are still selling these, but no idea for how much longer.  I have 2 investors so far, but need several more to get one of these units.

Get used to the newb haters around here...they are a tough crowd. CW says that when using a wallet you should use a "unique" address for every transaction. Meaning the address you posted was probably the 1st one you generated and is a "personal" address. You should have generated a new one for this particular deal. And do so for each future deal as well.

understood.  updated the post with a unique address.

Looks just as unique as CoinHoarders address seen above.  What is a unique address?  I thought all bitcoin wallet address were unique?

Unique meaning that it's a new address that hasn't been used before.

http://blockexplorer.com/address/146vw5dA9NHvSRGsB6fPNYXRA5Xm7PXTuF

Check out blockexplorer, this address was used prior to today.  A new address would make it a lot easier to keep track of everything.

EDIT:
@OP
The best thing to do would be to get a new address since there's only one entry for today.

ah good point.  see i'm a noob and put out my regular bitcoin wallet address.  i have created a new one that all transactions should go to:

Well, he is not even using a unique address for collecting the funds. That's very lame to say the least. Before investing please verify that this guy knows what he is doing.

what do you mean unique address?  that's my bitcoin wallet address and is encrypted.

Just to inform you guys that if this turns out to be a scam, the forum is not responsible for it. Please use your brains and verify the legitimacy of every offering before you spend your coins.

I can offer proof of my current business to any serious people.  I am a business owner and will run this mining pool as a business.  just PM me
Yep, that's great - everyone should verify to their heart's content before handing a stranger with any amount of monies.
I'm just putting this message in as I'm sick of newbies who fall for scams and try to get us to do something about it.

understood.

Well he was thorough with his intent and intellectually I feel confident that his intent is legit.  Will keep this post updated with my balance for anyone that is iffy.  In an attempt to verify his legitimacy I asked a question not normally asked, the answer given allowed me to look up the existence of  his business which was enough for me.

Also a pleasant person, which helps in situations like this.
