It was the Bitcointalk forum that inspired us to create Bitcointalksearch.org - Bitcointalk is an excellent site that should be the default page for anybody dealing in cryptocurrency, since it is a virtual gold-mine of data. However, our experience and user feedback led us create our site; Bitcointalk's search is slow, and difficult to get the results you need, because you need to log in first to find anything useful - furthermore, there are rate limiters for their search functionality.
The aim of our project is to create a faster website that yields more results and faster without having to create an account and eliminate the need to log in - your personal data, therefore, will never be in jeopardy since we are not asking for any of your data and you don't need to provide them to use our site with all of its capabilities.
We created this website with the sole purpose of users being able to search quickly and efficiently in the field of cryptocurrency so they will have access to the latest and most accurate information and thereby assisting the crypto-community at large.

Dear Friends,
we've fixed all disadvantages found by our testers. So now we are waiting for your new reviews. Kind regards, BestMixer Team April 01, 2018, 09:50:14 AM
Thank you for your review.
Quote I agree that is pending time longer than expected. Received transaction one hour later than expected time. Let's study how you did your test. 1. 2018-03-31 17:58:31 you sent an amount of 0.0065 BTC to our address: 36fQ8gJuLMa2oTPkZRFa9fPs5xNTZo17iF 2. your transaction was added to the block after 32 minutes only (at 2018-03-31 18:30:26), in other words your transaction received first confirmation 3. within 1 minute after receiving of first confirmation our system created a payment order taking into account the preset time delay (in your order a delay of 159 minutes was preset by you) 4. our system sent to you money at 2018-03-31 21:11:05, i.e. 160 minutes after receiving of first confirmation. And a little bit more explanations: Question: 'I preset a time delay of 159 minutes, and you made the transaction in 160 minutes, why? Reply: 'There are two factors that can influence on it: 1. Architecture of our system Our system is developed in the way that we can not check the status of your transactions every second, checking takes place every minute and therefore there is a possible slight delay before creation or execution of orders, from 1 to 59 seconds; 2. Different time synchronization of nodes For example, our system sent your transaction 11 seconds before than blockchain.info recorded it because of the time synchronization. Both of these factors are natural.' Question: 'I sent to you money at 2018-03-31 17:58:31, why did you create a payment order only after receiving first confirmation (in 32 minutes)?' Reply: 'It is a standard practice in any cryptosystem to wait for at least 1 confirmation to exclude the attack of double-spending.' More information about it you can read here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double-spending Quote A few minutes later I sent another one transaction to the same address. The graphics can be quite interesting with Mixing: https://blockchain.info/tree/339450422 Without mixing: https://blockchain.info/tree/339450948 What is interesting in these charts? There are two unrelated transactions from your wallet. Kind regards, BestMixer Support March 31, 2018, 01:01:09 PM

Ok, upon the site loading up I first noticed the simple apparently fail proof choices.
Only after fiddling with the settings for a bit did I see that this mixer is indeed a genius way to keep your identity out of the spotlight and it’s rock solid in my eyes. Good interface, my grandma could probably figure it out. Good job with this one! I will be back for regular mixer uppers. Lori Brown March 30, 2018, 04:54:34 PM

ID:1CyHtvCT5f Testing this service using 0.005 BTC 100% after 2hr. 19min.
Quote Received: 0.005 BTC, Outputs: 0.00491274 BTC, Status: Confirmed, Pending It is possible to change 'pending time' with a slider 'Transfer delay' that is directly under the field for your wallet address and the Service fee slider. It seems you have used default settings of 'Transfer delay' that are proposed as a random time initially during your order. For example, if you preset the time delay as 1 min, you would receive your coins almost immediately. Hopefully this explanation can change your opinion about this issue. Best regards, BestMixer Support March 28, 2018, 02:19:31 PM
Quote So my coins would remain PENDING for roughly 2 hours, how then can I rate the speed? Thank you for your opinion about the BestMixer service. You are absolutely right, you will receive your coins according to the time delay preset by you on the order page. In this situation you could evaluate the accuracy of your coins arrival only. Actually you made proper settings for better anonymisation of your coins. Kind regards, BestMixer Support March 28, 2018, 01:36:05 PM

Testing Best Mixer service with 0.005BTC at 100%, 0.5452% fee after 2 hours 2 minutes.
Site design is straight to business and choice of colors is simple and cool to the eyes. The interface is user friendly, I noticed you have had to make room for various recommendations made by earlier reviewers in bringing the site to its present look and that's commendable. I want to say the presence of fee calculator and status screen provides good enough information a user needs without having to look up some. Dear Friends,
we are happy that your interest to our project is growing. We are glad to answer your questions. A lot of your ideas have already made our service more convenient to use. Thank you for that. Quote I'm not sure why most of the pages are painfully slow for me with the exception of the homepage. Perhaps, this situation has happened because of the bad ping between your country and our server.Quote 'I am a website designer and i checked the SEO of the website ( As you know , you need to have a healthy SEO if you want to get a good rank on Alexa)' Thank you for your research, but, unfortunately, you did not notice the module against DDoS is enabled (JS redirect, working as cloudflare), and it does not let pass any automatic audit services. The test ratio on the website is much higher, gzip is enabled, and the mobile version works perfectly. (https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fbestmixer.io%2Fen).Quote Good. But the smallest amount is much higher than at the other services You are right, the minimum amount is really higher than some other services propose to mix. We have done it deliberately for various reasons including protection and stable operation of the service. We consider this amount to be sufficient for minimal mixing.Quote Are you providing us the coins needed for mixing? if you accept Segwit addresses, I'm here. if you want legacy address, I'm still here. Thank you for the questions. The BestMixer.IO is finally supporting SegWit.Quote are you sure it is the best setting on your default fee and time delay ? as when i drag the fee of 0.6xxx% and delay from 2hrs to 8 mins it shows the mixing strength are good. why you don't put the default /recommendation setting to the minimum for both fee and time delay? Each time for each new user we randomly set some important settings since it will complicate the analysis of the blockchain and will make the bitcoins you received through our service as anonymous as possible. We can't guess all your wishes, but we recommend that you check out the wiki menu, there is not a bad advice, and if you follow them, you will get the most anonymous coins, and the scale of the Strength Meter will indicate whether you have realized the information in the article.Quote On the generated order page, below the received BTC msg, instead of output BTC amount,if written as unconfirmed output BTC then it would be much useful and it would not be needed to check our wallet everytime. Thank you for your fair opinion. We have added a few new statuses on the order page, and now it has become more informative. Quote The only issue I faced was copying/selecting the Donation address. While selecting it always selected Tor mirror along with it. Thank you for remark, it is corrected.Sincerely yours, BestMixer Team March 26, 2018, 04:05:23 AM
It was first time for me to use such kind of service but it wasnt complicated at all. Mixing coins is best method to hide user's privacy on online networks. Speed is fast but user should choose the timing with sliding mixing stregth meter on site. I didnt like the interface of site, maybe service owners can improve it a bit. Mixing coins can be used to legalize illegal activities but i have no idea how they deal with rules. Overall my score is 8 over 10
March 25, 2018, 06:46:59 PM
So, its my first time that i use a mixer, im always afraid about these services,,,
About the layout of the website, I really dont care about this (but you can do a better translation in portuguese...), for me the most important is the service, not the look, but the bestmixer layout is very atractive and good fora mixer site. I sent the transaction with 11sat/byte but i had the misfortune of submiting the transaction just when the last block mined was 50min ago and i was worried about the bestmixer dont accept my transaction ( because they give a hour to receive the payment in the given address, i never see a 2hours without any block in the network, but... ), in the end the transaction was confirmed with "just" 30 minutes. One think that i liked was that they use a P2SH embedded address with segwit, i didnt take any advantage with this but this shows the preocupation with the bitcoin as all. When the transaction was received the accuracy of minutes that i have defined was extremly high and i received the mixed amount in the chosen time (the delay to difficult the tracking). About the quality of mix of my cois, i have done this just for a test, so i had sent the mixed coins back to the same wallet used to pay, but in a real situation this service will be very usuful and i really recommends this service. Sorry for my english... upd: already received the bounty. March 25, 2018, 06:29:25 PM
After using the service and browsing the website here are some things I would like to share.
The site is nicely programmed didn't have any issues mixing 0.0051 for the test. The only issue I faced was copying/selecting the Donation address. While selecting it always selected Tor mirror along with it. If someone wants to donate and he faces this then there's a chance he might give up on the thought of donating. Rest all is good. Although I am not permitted to participate in these review, I still felt a need to check out your tumbling services. After having a quick tour of your site, I find your site to be user friendly, reasonably responsive, and quiet uncluttered. As a content writer and proof reader, I really think you need to checkout you contents. their are quiet a few typos, grammatical errors, errors in punctuating, and a lot of your statements are written in the passive voice. Here is a quick example of what I mean from the opening paragraph of this page https://bestmixer.io/en/wiki/why_do_people_use_bitcoin_mixer
"When bitcoin has just appeared, the most part of users believed this cryptocurrency was anonymous. Nowadays the most competent members of the bitcoin community are aware of bitcoin is not anonymous, but rather pseudo-anonymous. A lot of people are not informed yet, why bitcoin can't be called as anonymous, until it is possible to identity the user of bitcoin, and what to do for its prevention.".. [/color] A quick edit In the early days of Bitcoin, it was a general assumption that all transactions where anonymous. Nowadays, the well informed members of the community are now aware that transactions are not absolutely anonymous, but rather pseudo-anonymous, hence can be traced. Many people aren't aware that it is quiet possible to identify the receiver or sender of a coin, or even if they do, they wouldn't know how to prevent such loop-hole in a transaction's anonymity. I would love to help proof read and edit all of your contents, that is if the offer is open at the right price. please Pm me if you are interested March 25, 2018, 04:27:04 PM
Here is my review:
I have never made use of any coin mixer before in doing transactions. I do all my transaction directly , but having tried out bestmixer , I think I can now make use of coinmixers in carrying out my transactions Transaction was fast, though I was charged 0.6% as transaction fee but I guess the service is worth the fee. Am not reviewing for the 0.0025 btc but just my contribution to your project March 25, 2018, 04:24:09 PM
I have just tested your service. The whole process took me a few minutes!
First impressions I'm not a fan of sleek, white design. When I first entered your website I really liked it. After a few minutes, I noticed that in some places the background and the text are the same colour which makes them hard to read. [1] Your FAQ section contains detailed information, I'm quite sure that nobody will have any problems with using your service properly. Statistics in the footer are really unique thing to see. I don't get your logo, though. What does it represent? Process of mixing coins I don't use mixing services a lot. Recently, I had a chance to test a different website with the same functionality so I have a benchmark. At the beginning, I had to choose which currency I would like to mix. I was quite surprised when I saw that Ethereum mixing is coming soon, I have never seen such service. I have selected Bitcoin, of course. I was able to select up to 10 output addresses, I don't think that more than this many is needed. There is no problem with using legacy and nested (starting with 3) addresses since they are compatible. What a pity that you can't send to native SegWit addresses (starting with bc1). These address will become more popular in the future, you should consider supporting it. I really like the idea of using sliders, they are pretty accurate and there are no problems with selecting certain values. However, it would be nice to be able to modify the transfer delay and the percentage distribution by simply typing the value you want. Some people might prefer this option over sliders. Mixing strength meter is a nice thing, especially for newbies who probably don't know much about pseudo-anonymous nature of Bitcoin. You can view what steps you should take in order to be more anonymous, quite useful. It's worth mentioning that before you ask your customer to send coins to your address, you inform the user about the limited time (24 hours) and the importance of "Letter of Guarantee" which obligates you to complete your service. Fee calculator is really convenient, I used it before I sent my coins and I have to admit that it is really useful! It would great if we were able to enter USD values, some mixing services automatically convert it to BTC. The last thing I had to do was to send the coins to your address. I have set the transaction delay to 5 minutes and... after the transaction was confirmed and about 5 minutes passed I received an information about incoming transaction. Summary I'm surprised that I described your service in detail. It was definitely a nice experience to use it, I will use it in case I need to mix some coins. There are still many features you could implement but your service is functional at this point. I would recommend it to anyone. [1] - https://imgur.com/a/XUzK5 March 25, 2018, 11:43:18 AM
I'd also like to submit my small review:
I like the design of your website. The background could be a bit more detailed (or more contrasty). But thats just a personal impression. The availability of 12 languages is a big plus. The fact, that you not only mix BTC but alts also is a nice feature. Im especially looking forward to use it in combination with ETH. The API give your mixer a nice utility by binding it into small scripts / software. Even though it already has been mentioned, i'd also would like to see bech32 addresses being accepted. What i'd also like to call positive is the ability to choose different delay times for different receiving addresses. The onion site is working fine. But the use of javascript will reduce the amount of users using your service. Most people who are going to access mixer via your onion link probably won't turn on java script. Another implementation would be more appealing for all kind of customer. The mixing proces itself went fast and flawlessly. Overall a nice tumbler. March 25, 2018, 07:30:13 AM
I'm new in this cryptocurrencies mixing thing. I had heard it before that's why it sounds familiar to me but I didn't know what it actually means and how it works. So I try it using your site BESTIXER.IO. I hadn't thought that there will be some guides and tips, it was a great help for me to know first basic stuffs on this thing before starting to mix coins. And after I had read enough information, I decided to start mixing. The good thing is that you can even set the service fee and the transfer delay and also have the Fee calculator, it was also a great help for you to know before you deposit the amount you want. The site is good for new users on this mixing thing. This is my first time using a mixing service and I had no difficulty using your service BESTMIXER.IO
EDIT: I already received the reward. Thanks March 25, 2018, 03:10:46 AM
Just now, I have sent 0.005 BTC to your best mixer service. It has very user friendly interface.Added benefit is that other altcoins are also available to get mixed.I was amazed to see that on the very moment when I sent BTC from my electrum wallet,i saw the message that 0.005 BTC received in the mixer.Service fee seem to be normal as per other available mixer services. On the generated order page, below the received BTC msg, instead of output BTC amount,if written as unconfirmed output BTC then it would be much useful and it would not be needed to check our wallet everytime. Just now waiting to receive my coins back.
I have received my BTC and everything went smooth. UPD: I have received the reward. Thanks for the opportunity to test your service. March 25, 2018, 01:15:04 AM
Regarding the speed my coins arrived to wallet less than 1 hour with full anonymity. Site looks simple and all tasks are easy. Mixing coins is one of the way to protect your privacy on online world. I sent 0.02 litecoin to site and mixing warning popped out about site T&C. I only read the half of terms because everything was designed perfectly by developers. Thanks for this opportunity that helps us to protect our privacy.
March 23, 2018, 07:09:33 PM
I'll review it for an hour.
March 23, 2018, 03:26:07 PM
(REVIEW DONE)
i just saw the first page and there is too much sentence mentioned , i believe people will ignore it . better to short it out by putting an expand button stated it is important , you have to read it before start mixing coin etc. keep making things simple , i see the font are too big, we have to scroll it up and down to make sure everything are fine. are you sure it is the best setting on your default fee and time delay ? as when i drag the fee of 0.6xxx% and delay from 2hrs to 8 mins it shows the mixing strength are good. why you don't put the default /recommendation setting to the minimum for both fee and time delay? as per my experience people will go straight clicking the next button to speed up the order , yes you can set it all to the minimum to minimize complains about this. overall on interface i love it , so smooth, nice looking. goodluck! March 23, 2018, 03:13:30 PM
Are you providing us the coins needed for mixing? if you accept Segwit addresses, I'm here. if you want legacy address, I'm still here.
March 23, 2018, 11:01:57 AM
I'd like to help you on your testing phase.
Although im a member, my technical skills (check my past posts) would for sure benefit you. Let me know if you can make an exception with me, so i can do a review about your service. March 23, 2018, 09:30:34 AM
First of all interface is simply designed and site meets my expectations. Support section of site doesnt look good because there is no many options. Mixing strength meter helps user to measure the timing and quality of service. I have never seen such kind of indicator on other mixing services. I chosed the less available timing on indicator with accepting the warning about privacy of mixed coins. BTW i only used site to mix my litecoins and everything was smooth and fast.

Dear Friends,
We are still waiting for your reviews. At the time of this report, we paid a reward for 12 of 50 reviews. You still have a chance to test a new bitcoin mixer and get the reward for your review. The Terms of participation in the Reward Program are in the top of this thread. Best regards, BestMixer Team March 21, 2018, 10:57:27 PM
I'm a happy customer of BestMixer (order ID#: 28E1TWWt56). Tried their mixing service and got my coins within minutes.
If you want a simple, hassle-free, and straight to the point mixing service, i highly recommend BestMixer. I loved how the UI was straightforward in giving you what you want, which is mixed coins. Additionally, i appreicated how the service also had APIs for other developers to connect and work with. This could go a long way when building other services that could work with Bestmixer. Although almost perfect as it is, here are just 2 points for improvement which are not already discussed in the previous post: 1. The background image could be HD. While it is fine as it is, i believe having a background with better quality/higher definition would make it look more appealing. 2. Additional languages could be added. I could help you out with this, will send you a PM. Overall, kudos to the Bestmixer team. A working product well done! March 21, 2018, 04:11:32 PM
Dear Friends,
after a day we summarize the results of the first day Review Program. All your comments seem very useful to us. Over the past 24 hours nine testers were paid a reward. Below you can find replies to the suggestions of BestMixer users at the time of writing this report. Quote ‘MY quick suggestion: You could also let the user customize the transaction fees (or at least give them a slider with a minimum to avoid 0 sat/byte fees). I paid a fee of 8 say/bytes and got a confirmation in the next block while you guys sent my coins with a 28 sat/byte (almost 4x more).’ Thank you for your objective review. We use a pretty high Miner fee to ensure that your transaction is guaranteed to get into the next block. For the same reason, the fee for each transaction in the BestMixer system is floating to prevent blockchain analysis. Quote ‘I think if you made the fee calculator before starting the mixing will be great, Add required number to confirm, Write the time of arrive like: "You will get 0.1 CoinName on 21.03.2018 01:25:00 to CoinAddress", Add option to control TX fees.’ Thank you for your suggestion. We will take it into consideration. It seems this should make the mixing procedure more glade. Quote ‘After using the site for a while it became very slow!’ As for the speed, we will do our best to make the operation of the website as comfortable as possible. Quote ‘I was confused to why a higher service fee increases the strength however, so please clarify that a bit more’. Thank you for your objective review. Please note the Miner fee of the BestMixer is the lowest among similar services. There is no direct dependence on the size of the Miner fee and the strength of mixing. The fee should not be equal to the minimum permissible value. Its value can be any other than the minimum allowed to provide protection against blockchain analysis. In other words, the fee value, for example, 0.505%, will make the transfer analysis more complicated. Quote ‘On the final order page, you should put the "unconfirmed" next to the received amount and not the output amount. At first I thought the output was already sent and unconfirmed, but after some digging I realized my input was unconfirmed. So clarification there would be nice.’ Thank you for your opinion about the "unconfirmed" status of the transfer. We'll fix it the nearest future. Quote ‘I would add one more status: "Sent but unconfirmed". The status has the exact same text when the transaction was sent but unconfirmed, and while I was waiting the time delay. I had to manually check my address, so it would be nice to have a "Sent but unconfirmed", so that the customer can see the txid.’ Thank you for your opinion about the "Sent but unconfirmed" status of the transfer. We'll fix it the nearest future. Quote ‘My mixing output had a legacy address input, and a P2SH (not sure if multisig or nested SegWit, as the change address hasn't been spent from yet) change address, which can help with privacy. I would also add support for bech32 addresses in your mixer, and use those as a change address occasionally, to further 'mix' things up. See what I did there?’ We like your idea about adding of bech32 addresses. We will implement it soon for the convenience of the BestMixer users. Quote ‘Liquidity of a mixer is one of the concerns of people that want to mix a huge amount of bitcoins so I suggest this should be declared.’ Thank you for your fair opinion. During the beta period, the mixer will run with small amounts. The available number of coins is reflected on the order page. At the end of the test period we will increase the liquidity of the BestMixer to the stated parameters. Quote ‘I get why they don't have a physical address and all, but I do think they need basic contact details.’ We deliberately left no information for physical contact. Unfortunately, this is necessary to continue the anonymous operation of the service in the future. In the Terms of Use and Contacts sections we have tried to describe this stand in more detail. Quote ‘Readability can improve by miles if they hired a professional and certified proofreader.’ Thank you for your objective review. We will try to make the texts of the BestMixer more readable. Quote ‘However, a mini narrated video or a guided flash tutorial on the page could help the ultra noob, of which there are going to be many because mixing is a fairly advanced topic.’ Later we plan to make a video guide on the use of the service. Quote ‘They could implement a chatbot / live support functionality for users to get on the fly support. When I made the order I instantly opened a support ticket.’ We will consider the possibility of chatbot, but in the nearest future the Support service will work with the tickets. Since it gives better protection to the anonymity of the project. In the Terms of Use and Contacts sections we have tried to describe this stand in more detail. Quote ‘It is still slightly incomplete, the clouds that describe BestMixer features are not translated and FAQ is not complete (hopefully you will correct it soon, this is an important information). Some places imho should be rewrited a bit better but in general everything is understandable and looks good (I mean that in most crypto related services translations are much worse).’ Thank you for your sincere opinion. You are absolutely right, not all the texts are completed in a proper way. It'll be fixed the nearest days. Quote ‘My suggestion is to add a countdown to the order pannell.’ We like your countdown idea. We will add it soon to the convenience of the BestMixer users. Quote Coins were recieved back with 26.987 sat/B transaction fee (while I've been sending with the electrum recommended 7.707 sat/B ). Such transaction shouldn't stuch anywhere. We use Miner floating fee, but at the moment we deliberately overestimate it, unlike other mixers that use fixed rates facilitating transaction analysis. Best wishes, BestMixer Support service March 21, 2018, 12:19:16 PM

I've tried mixing some coins with your service and here's my review:
I'm not sure why most of the pages are painfully slow for me with the exception of the homepage. Every page except the homepage, including the order pages, the fees, wiki, and the FAQ are lagging on my computer. This is unusual for me because my browser and computer are normal, never experience this before with any other sites. This is a huge issue and it makes the whole process quite uncomfortable. Any idea what causing the lag? Other than that, user interface is good and fine, just like other mixing services, quite self-explanatory which is good. The design is also fine, but not that good. Surely you can improve a lot in the design. You should also allow users to customize the outgoing tx fee rate for even better privacy. I've seen this implemented in another mixing service before. The mixing strength meter is interesting. Is this your original idea? I haven't seen them anywhere. Makes a user more interested to learn how to best mix their coins. Also thanks for the wiki article! Edit: Payment received. Thanks. March 20, 2018, 11:31:27 PM
The first thing that I've noticed while reviewing the website is that it have a somehow adequate translations to other languages. It is still slightly incomplete, the clouds that describe BestMixer features are not translated and FAQ is not complete (hopefully you will correct it soon, this is an important information). Some places imho should be rewrited a bit better but in general everything is understandable and looks good (I mean that in most crypto related services translations are much worse).
The other thing that I've noticed is that bestmixer.io is showing the incoming transactions right after you send it while most of similar services only show confirmed transactions. Such feature is usefull when you are mixing such low speed coins as BTC. The speed and design of the website are fine. FAQ is clear (if you read it in english), calculators and tor link are fine. Everything works as it should be. A possibility of integrating your API to other websites looks interesting but I don't have my own website so I couldn't check it. Right now I am waiting for my coins. Transfer delay automatically stands on 2 hr 30 min. My suggestion is to add a countdown to the order pannell. Coins were recieved back with 26.987 sat/B transaction fee (while I've been sending with the electrum recommended 7.707 sat/B ). Such transaction shouldn't stuck anywhere. UPD: I have recieved the reward. Thanks for the opportunity to test your service. March 20, 2018, 10:14:53 PM
Seems neat.
I am interested in doing a review for you, thanks for the opportunity. March 20, 2018, 08:47:57 PM
@OP Since you are accepting only mid - high ranking members consider explaining why you chose to allow red / negative trust members to participate? Pretty sure the high-ranking members only is just to prevent multi accounters from entering this. Can you read? March 20, 2018, 07:52:39 PM
Can people stop posting reserve and post your TX and the timestamp?! This is kinda cheating the giveaway just to get the additional bonus. @OP: Reward the bonus based on the timestamp. I'm just new on mixer website and I' m not well knowledgeable on it's function but I have some idea in my mind. What if I deposit my BTC in an exchange then Buy tether then convert again to BTC? I used Tether so that the gap in buy/sell price is not huge then it means that my old BTC is not the same right? Same function of mixer? Just my thoughts.

I just tried the service, and here's my review: I'm judging the site based on 5 criterias:
Detailed Overview Website Appeal & Design: Personally, I did not like the site design at all. It looks like a site that was designed in 2006. Texts were rather large and everything seemed dumbed down and clunky. Also, I didn't understand get why the favicon, the iconography of the 'Start Mixing' button did not match the logo. By the way that rocket icon for the mixing button is ripped off the internet. I've seen that same design in many places. If Bestmixer.io wants to establish a solid identity, then they need to do a better job of developing unique graphics that's exclusive to their site. However, the saving grace for the design and whole user experience part was that I did like how responsive and light the page felt. The fade-ins-&-outs were done between pages pretty tastefully and I think if they hire a professional to design the site, they could probably improve its visual appeal. Right now, if I were a big bag holder of coins, I would not trust this site based on how it looks as of now. Website Readability: "Please, Download Letter of Guarantee before send us coins" this was the main message on the order page. Just one example of text that was not proofread well. The written text made use of passive voice excessively but that's a mistake we all make these days. Readability can improve by miles if they hired a professional and certified proofreader. Process Transparency: They have made attempts to guide a newbie user through what each of their field boxes mean and what actions they perform. However, a mini narrated video or a guided flash tutorial on the page could help the ultra noob, of which there are going to be many because mixing is a fairly advanced topic. Mixing Service Strength & Speed: This is the one part where this website absolutely shines, it does what it advertises! The mixing parameters are fairly basic but they can be customized to each use case. The unconfirmed incoming transaction was instantly detected on the deposit address. Once my transaction was confirmed by the network it took the mixer around 6 or 7 minutes or so to send the BTC to my receiving wallet. Best mixing results can be obtained by increasing the delay and service fee parameter. I chose my personal fee parameter to be at 0.5% Support & Dispute Resolution: This is another place where this website can improve by a lot. They could implement a chatbot / live support functionality for users to get on the fly support. When I made the order I instantly opened a support ticket : https://bestmixer.io/en/support/3PTd8SUYec. As of now while writing this review, that support ticket is still unattended. Other Suggestions: Apart from what I have already told you, I'd like to suggest you to keep the number of supported coins to the minimum. At best 8 - 10 top coins only. Also, for bitcoin, I hope your deposit addresses recognize transfers from segwit addresses. If I had to rate the site and overall experience; I'd give it 3.75 Out of 5 STARS My BTC address where you can send the reward : 394T7cYKb8RTW5HV7R1BJMTRmuXAB3fwAZ This is a segwit enabled Greenwallet address. -edit- Reward received. Mixing complete! My order id# is: 2qcY5WaI11. Everthing went smoothly!
In terms of user interface, it was well designed and actually very straight forward. It looks modern and i love how simple and uncluttered the text is because this really helps keep things simple. Unlink other complicated websites, with Bestmixer i knew exactly what to click. In terms of speed, i was really impressed by how the amount i deposited was immediately reflected on the webpage even without reloading the page. This, along with the letter of guarantee, truly makes me feel safe sending my bitcoins to this mixer. I will surely use this service again. Thank you Bestmixer and keep up the good work. Looking forward to ETH mixing! March 20, 2018, 07:25:49 PM
I really don't know how this mixer thing works, and I didn't try to mix because I only have 0.01 Btc in my wallet and I'm really saving it. I know the fee will be refunded but, the main reason I didn't try it is because I really don't know how it works. But as a webpage developer (student). I reviewed the webpage and came up to this idea.
I have suggestion to this part It seems like it is part of the webpage' s body and doesn't look too good (based in my own likings) . I think you should make a footer for this contents. I can imagine that it will look much better. The webpage is mobile friendly and I like it. I will add more information if I noticed something again. And OP, I'm not going to ask for reward as I didn't follow the rules. I didn't mix any coin. Have a good day March 20, 2018, 06:44:46 PM
I have just tried out this service, I listened to the recommendations the gave me and set a time delay and a custom fee.
I loved the bar below it telling us basically how well the mixing would go in anonymizing the coins I tested out the site on my phone it worked perfectly and doesn't look messed up at all. The option to add more receiving address is quite a compelling feature as well. To me the UI was very user friendly and quite intuitive, it felt so easy to use and isn't a pain at all. The fee calculator is also great, showing the user their expected amount back to them after mixing. I can safely say this mixing service gets a +1 from me and should from anybody else. UPDATE: Just received my award thanks March 20, 2018, 06:38:18 PM
Can people stop posting reserve and post your TX and the timestamp?! This is kinda cheating the giveaway just to get the additional bonus.
@OP: Reward the bonus based on the timestamp. Took time to write my review to reflect my experience, but I've used the mixer a few minutes after I've originally posted. For everybody's reference, check the timestamp! Archive for reference of originality of review. BESTMIXER.IO REVIEW Overall Rating (4.4 Stars) Highlights 1. Three kinds of coins available for mixing 2. Fee can be as low as 0.5% 3. No fixed fee on top of variable fee 4. Clear net and Tor compatible 5. Simple mixer 6. Transaction fees are set at a good rate Website/UI The website design is quite simple and nothing complicated. It just clearly shows how things should be and everything is easy to find. Fonts are pretty readable. Font size are standard even when viewing from 3440 x 1440 screen without zooming in or having windows on standard 100% size. Mixing Process Standard mixing process which is: Step 1: Start Mixer Step 2: Enter receiving address Step 3: Choose options for fees and delays Step 4: Confirm selections (Nice touch with the warning about less anonymity when entering bare minimum on fees and delays) Step 5: Receive guarantee letter and mixing address Step 6: Done and wait for receipt of mixed coins Just pretty straight forward nothing really complicated about the process. No added fancy, useless, or added steps to just mix coins. Just a standard and well working mixer and again the saying goes "should not try to reinvent the wheel." Nothing wrong with such, since that's what's nice about this mixer, because its plain and simple. Available Coins for Mixing Offers three different coins for mixing. Great for those people that are looking to mix those coins. List of coins: 1. Bitcoin 2. Bitcoin cash 3. Litecoin 4. ETH - coming soon Fees One of the lowest, if not the lowest, fees for a cryptocurrenty mixer on the market with just 0.5% fees as minimum. There is no additional fixed fee aside from this variable fee unlike other mixers who charge a fixed fee on top of the variable fee. Tor/Clear Net Great for everybody! Since you can just mix using a standard browser that will allow more users to be able to use the service. But they did not forget those privacy paranoid individuals by making a Tor website. Speed Time sent btc to mixing address: 2018-03-20 23:39:16 | Confirmed after: +4 mins or 2018-03-20 23:43:29 Time received on receiving address: 2018-03-20 23:45:05 Confirmed after: +10 mins or 2018-03-20 23:55:27 I placed a 0 delay so basically the mixer sent my coins exactly 1 min and 36 secs. It was not 0 delay probably because the system waited for at least 2 confirmations or it was standard processing time even at 0 delay. Transaction Fees The system placed a fee of 0.00006039 BTC or 27.081 Sat/B. which is way above the minimum right now according to https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/ at the time of mixing. Transaction size The site merely stated that it can handle a big transaction, as to how much is the question it did not address. Liquidity of a mixer is one of the concerns of people that want to mix a huge amount of bitcoins so I suggest this should be declared. Support No live support. No email support. No contact details. I get why they don't have a physical address and all, but I do think they need basic contact details. Security They boast a higher security feature than other mixers and also has CAE-checker to check previous transactions with other selected mixers. I don't have in-depth knowledge I'd just rely on their word for it for now. March 20, 2018, 06:38:12 PM
Mixing went just as expected. I like the "modern" design, though I'd prefer a version without Javascript, and the more security/privacy conscious people might not like running JS, even if it's all self hosted. The mixing process was straightforward. The time delay was fairly accurate, it was relayed by Blocktrail about 1 minute after the delay I set, which is very reasonable. I would add better fee estimation. I'm assuming the 6000ish satoshi fee per output is roughly the transaction fee used, which is overkill for today's fee environment. The transaction from your side used a fee just above 25 satoshis/byte, when according to Johoe's mempool statistics, there was less than half a megabyte of transactions paying over 5+ satoshis/byte. While this difference is fairly small, it does lower the end fee for your customer. I like the auto updating status screen, however I would add one more status: "Sent but unconfirmed". The status has the exact same text when the transaction was sent but unconfirmed, and while I was waiting the time delay. I had to manually check my address, so it would be nice to have a "Sent but unconfirmed", so that the customer can see the txid. Took a deeper look, so I'm updating my review. Here's an archive showing that this review was among the first 5 posted, by lasted edited timestamp (idk how you plan on doing this) I like how you are mixing up the change addresses. (I assume this is intentional) My mixing output had a legacy address input, and a P2SH (not sure if multisig or nested SegWit, as the change address hasn't been spent from yet) change address, which can help with privacy. I would also add support for bech32 addresses in your mixer, and use those as a change address occasionally, to further 'mix' things up. See what I did there? I confirm I have gotten my reward. Amazing service! Bestmixer is a true competitor to other mixing services.
Tried mixing with the lowest fee possible and the fastest time and i received my BTC on time. This service is far better than shapeshift in many ways as shapeshift is ripping people off. Happy to find an alternative to that service. I see Ethereum will be part of the service soon and hopefully more coins will be added soon after. Feel free to try it out guys, Bestmixer is a very professional and well working system. Within minutes my transactions were on their way to my wallet. I will definitely use it again. The site idea and content is pretty good!
I start testing this mixer, Sent around 0.005BTC. Settings: "Service Fee" to 0.6, "Delay" to 1.30 H Site speed, UI is good. I think if you made the fee calculator before starting the mixing will be great, Add required number to confirm, Write the time of arrive like: "You will get 0.1 CoinName on 21.03.2018 01:25:00 to CoinAddress", Add option to control TX fees.. After using the site for a while it became very slow! Edit: reward received, Thanks BestMixer.io team! March 20, 2018, 06:07:27 PM
I really like reviewing new mixers
I have tried BESTMIXER and the whole website and mixing proccess looks great. Even that I deslike the use of Javascript, this makes the website very user-friendly and slick. I sent a small amount (close to the minimum of 0.005BTC) and chose 1 address and no delay to test out how fast you can mix your coins if you are in a hurry (I hope that's ok even that you said you want us to focus on the Mixing strength meter). Something that I really liked about the mixing proccess is how they indicate the level of "anonymization" that your mix will have. If you add more addresses and a bigger delay, you will get a higher level in the "Mixing strength" indicator. If you do like me and use no delay and only 1 address, they will warn and suggest you that the mixing can be more effective if you tweak the settings a little bit. After I sent the coins to the receiving address, the page immediately showed the funds and a "Waiting confirmation" indicator. I waited for my transaction to get a confirmation, which thanks to how empty is the BTC mempool only too 2 minutes, and 1 min and 30 seconds later I received my coins. TLDR: The whole 'Wallet 1 -> mixer -> Wallet 2' process with no delays took only 3 min and 30 seconds. MY quick suggestion: You could also let the user customize the transaction fees (or at least give them a slider with a minimum to avoid 0 sat/byte fees). I paid a fee of 8 say/bytes and got a confirmation in the next block while you guys sent my coins with a 28 sat/byte (almost 4x more). This would also help prevent Blockchain analysis. Edit: I received the reward. Thanks! March 20, 2018, 05:51:17 PM
I'll bite. Testing site right now.
