Hi,

I am mining for the first time. I am using a windows laptop.

I downloaded windows wallet and clicked on start mining. Do I need to do anything else.

I see the conf file in op post but can't find any place to enter the same on my computer. rpcuser, rpc password etc

Since you are on Windows, You have to put the Volpcoin.conf on the following directory:
C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Volpcoin\

If you want to mine , follow the following tutorial:

- Go on “Mine” Tab

- In  the “Type” option, Choose “Solo Mining”

- Click on Start Mining

If you need more informations:

https://github.com/volpcoin/Volpcoin/issues/1

DEV i do all, but steel nothing   mined  ( solo and pool)
Also unlock wallet

your better off using your GPU to mine

How use GPU?  I try ccminer.exe --k x14 --o http://127.0.0.1:30450138 --intensity 18

And nothink

This can be mined on GPU using ccminer for much better rewards than the CPU wallet miner

None of the nodes are online at all. I tried to sync a linux wallet and a windows wallet, both fail to sync. last node that was online was 81 hours ago... Thinking this might be dead unless dev can resurrect the nodes.

i am connected and staking using

addnode=35.184.23.169
addnode=104.198.191.31
addnode=104.198.228.175

I can't guarantee that the wallet is safe to use. But those antivirus warnings listed are for the built in miner. However even after adding the nodes I cannot sync with the network and it looks like this coin has been mined for weeks before being posted here.

Edit: The wallet caught up and I've mined two blocks.
