hang on its the client that needs fixing,, not the blockchain right?? sorry.. my bad.. didnt mean to spread fud or anything.. just got mixed up.. :/

It is both.  The chain needs fixing because the client needs fixing.  Likely the next version will basically contain a hard fork around block 517.

Step by step! We are climbing it!

will the new client have the accounts last transactions or will it still be the networks?

It will have everything synchronized with the blockchain

Problem with blockchain.

[sold]

I was the buyer.

Notice I did not know that the transactions in the webwallet not work, apparently there is a problem with blockchain.
I did not know this problem before buying.

That means that the only possibility as the seller can not send them to you, is that the seller will send the passphrase.

And you have to trust the seller until the problem is fixed and you can send to your wallet.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.8327268

After the passphrase is provided the buyer can still see that the coins are there correct? Is the trust you are refering to just the fact that they could log in and make a transfer once everything fixed before you do, if they were a scammer that is?

Yes, coins are in the wallet.

The fault was mine to not read the post in the forum that spoke of the blockchain failure .

Maybe in the buying and selling thread should have a warning and advice on how to proceed in that case.

Really the sale can not be completed. The buyer gets the seller passphrase and should trust him until you can change the coins to another wallet.

im only joking man.. i mean node has huge potential but just needs to get up an running on healthy legs(blockchain working) before it can run for gold in the crypto olympics Wink

thats why i said at this stage.. cos right now node needs fixing. once its fixed, we should be golden! Smiley

edit:

hang on its the client that needs fixing,, not the blockchain right?? sorry.. my bad.. didnt mean to spread fud or anything.. just got mixed up.. :/

im holding my node long term too so im not worried about the client taking time.

I undersand Smiley

I have the same opinion! And i'm glad that the team is pushing it! I'm pretty sure they will manage this quickly, so we could mark this step with a check symbol!

Also in the mean time i see that our group power is pushing it on BTER From position 79 to 29!!! Huge collective contribution! If we join forces, now that we are more vulnerable, i'm sure that node will become big!!!

Let the force be with you! (Star wars Style) Just kidding!

I myself am a developer on node.js and watching the project and see that the work is done big. You only blame the developers.

You are on core team?  If that is true then we either know each-other already, or should.  You should ask TJ about me, and maybe the three of us can get together for a chat?  Cool

For those of you who aren't sure that they can trust each other:

I have 2 accounts from trustworthy members, that I trust, and have done business with before.

These are accounts that I will personally guarantee that there will be no surprise transfers of your nodes from the seller. If by some chance this would happen, I would refund your purchase personally.

If you are trying to cash in on those selling at bargain prices because the system is not working, and have faith that we will see Stakes valued at 2 to 4 BTC once the system is finalized, and in working order, this is the perfect investment for you.

These two stakes are being sold at a discount rate of .55 and .625 and you will be provided with the password upon payment.

Again, these come with my personal guarantee, and can be purchased now before the working client is available, and these discount prices will naturally go up with the progress of the client.

Contact me via PM, these two accounts will be sold on a first come first come basis.

Thank you!

This is from the Buy/Sell thread : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/node-buy-sell-thread-727745

There are other offers as well there, but as explained above you must have full faith and trust in the seller and you will be taking over their account and you have no way to change the password after the purchase.

That's right, there was an error in block 517, and 518, and the incorrect data synchronization between clients
We will fix the error with synchronization and transactions will work again wait until the weekend

@announcement
We are working on the problem,
Incorrect data synchronization, hopefully before the end of the week to release the next version
This is our first beta version, I know that there may be errors in further, but we will correct them as soon as possible.
Before starting, we test the client on our computers and we had no problems.

Now we have found a bug and integrate dual verification blocks.

Thank you to all the community for their understanding

I don't understand what was the point in distribution, when u havent made working client?

So at this point we have coins with no use, exchanges or even desktop client and it seems to people are getting frustrated. Seems like my predictions about marketcap are fair: 250 000 $

distribution of the coins does not affect operation of the client
There was a synchronization error

I'm not interested at the moment capitalization, and only the working client. Who believe in our project will be with us until the end..
We have some of the features which are not disclosed, which will be disclosed after the beta testing

Okay, but do u have any schedule how long that will take ?

The dev has said the new version will be release before the weekend.
