I have to say that Finnish things work As they should. If something is based on Finland that means more than if the guy is a hero member here on btt.. Also Finnish people are EXTREMELY reliable..  I remember a test.. losing on purpose 12 wallets in different cities around the world.. for example in madrid people gave back 1 wallet.. there were some cities giving back 5 wallets.. in Finland 11 wallets were returned to the owners.. If the alCurex owner is a finnish citizen also that would be a huge plus for an exchange. ANd also Finland is totally bitcoin friendly. So that exchange could be a really good option. I've been living in Finland.. and for example in trains they have what is known by "honor code".. Nobody ask them for ticket.. if they are inside a train is because even if no one check they should have the ticket. In a year u can maybe find an inspector. The time the inspector jumped in the train was full.. and EVERYONE had the ticket. They are trustfull people.

I've been keeping up with the progress of AlcurEX and I can say so far the dev is a person of his word. Sure it's not as big of an exchange, but he is only one person doing everything by himself.  The only thing he is really lacking is marketing for the exchange.

Poloniex and bittrex have big volume, but they prefer coins that can be P&D.  NODE is a different animal and personally I rather see NODE grow consistently at a stable level then go way up and then it's dead.

NODE and AlcurEX can both grow together and maybe benefit from each other.

edit: Just think about this, if the dev of AlcurEX wanted nothing but profit, he would have shut down the exchange ages ago since there hasn't been too much volume of coins.  Instead he has kept his word and has been slowly but surely improving the exchange every month.  Also he would have ran away with the BTC from his IPO, but instead he honored all the IPO investors with new shares when he moved them from CryptoStocks and honored all transfers of MicroCoin 1 to MicroCoin 2.
